I got a good online deal 1399 for m2 MacBook Air lol. And yes agree that the service sucks.
Yeah. This price can endure their nonsense. Strange this Nojima Asia is nippon right? Why their service machiam ah beng ah seng. Even buy things in Thailand also get better service.

btw what's the difference between buying from apple store online and from retailers like courts? apparently Courts can deliver the m2 in a few days (earliest Feb 4), compared to a month from apple store.
Can get cheaper with education price for brand new product and 14 days return policy on Apple Online Store, usually Shoppe and Lazada don’t do promo on new launch products and return policy not as straight forward.

Apple is ultra smart with its pricing. You add in monitor, keyboard, mouse and it is almost same price as MacBook Air. Lol! But this is a powerful mean machine if you don’t need portability.

If you already have a monitor, keyboard and mouse, then you don’t have to spend those amount.

if not you could have bought a MBA.

hence the product and price differentiation definitely plays a very important role

What’s config did you order, Apple default or CTO config?
The default M2 Pro.. getting one for at least the next 5 years and to replace my MacBook Pro 2016.

Current setup already plugged in usb c monitor + external keyboard and mouse, so why not try a desktop machine instead

Got mine at 709 from Apple under student discount. Also, apple care for student is 119 sgd, total 828 for 3 year warranty
I didn't get the $119 extra 2 yrs apple care because I don't think mini desktop will spoil so easily as there is no moving parts except the fan.

Oh, so did you get AC too?

I saw online some are assembled in China while some are made in Malaysia. Wondering what's about sg stock.

There is difference in the retail box too. Some on the box got put the model, ram and ssd size in bigger font on the back, while some didn't.

Package 1, Zoom in at the right label stated 2023

Package 2, Zoom in at the right label stated 2022.

yea gotten the AC+ too, just in case and for the additional 2 years for support.

Curious too which packaging will mine be (2022 or 2023) since it’s a default M2 Pro config.
