Okie, luving the Imac... so is everyone here.... :D... now looking at "more advance" setup.... looking to buy a WD 2TB Firewire800 HDD to use as backup and also store the movie, pictures and what not..... or should I also be looking at getting the Time Capsule??? :s22:

Current setup is cable modem, router and a 2X1TB NAS inside room... me NAS going up lorry, so will be transfering data to the new external HDD... anyway, way too slow the tranfer speed for the NAS.... later when the home is fibre ready, the modem and router will be in the hall... since the fibre thing fix at hall.... and also me bedroom got this Media player.. network to play movie from the NAS.....

So lookig at it... what is best way (hopefully more economical way) to do the setup??

parallels / fusion better than bootcamp. You're getting a Mac, use Windows as little as possible and it's more reliable.
1. Oracle / MSSQL in Windows virtual env, with snapshot/rollback capability if you're using for development
2. eclipse run natively in Mac OS X
3. web browser and msn use native Mac clients

There is another official apple service centre sub to one company located near SPH too right?
I checked it does repair on imac , macbook pro , mac air and ipad.
whereas iphone , itouch at tagra drive? if i get the name right.

lol , surprised wheelock there also has one? I never knew it because seldom walk there.
I'm curious wheelock place the service centre just service imac , macbook pro and mac air/ipad?

ps: can you explian more on "snapshot" feature?/ it is just like resuming what u see on the desktop previously?

With snapshots, you can save a particular state of a virtual machine for later use. At any later time, you can revert to that state, even though you may have changed the VM considerably since then. A snapshot of a virtual machine is thus similar to a machine in "saved" state, as described above, but there can be many of them, and these saved states are preserved.

thanks for the info.. so i presume using 4gb is good eunff?:o

Don't need.
But it still doesn't give you a licence to go about downloading all the porn you want. Still need common sense when you use a computer.

If you check the online store carefully, can.

Hi can someone clarify if the serial key for Parallel Desktop 7 can be shared among my home mac system or do I have to purchase individual license for each machine?

TIA
