I said that countless times that Macs are way too expensive...and 512GB PCI-E space is utter exaggerated. I prefer them to take the SSD + HDD or at least a SSHD. For the High end model, GT 750M Seriously?! I expect that one no less than a GTX 860M as an absolute minimum.

same here.

really disappointed with the GT750M when other notebooks have had 860m and above for months.

Hi this may not be on topic. But what do u guys think about getting a MacBook Air 13" in dec? I heard that the air is getting a revamp next year. Would it be wise to wait or it's fine getting one soon?

u shud wait for e broadwell refresh if u not in a hurry to get. will bring more batt life for MBA. but earliest 1st quarter 2015.

If Apple were to release new MacBooks next year end again, wouldn't Intel already release Skylake? I would prefer Apple to use Skylake instead of Broadwell then =p

Would a overhaul of the design itself be in as well? How big of a change wld broad well bring?

no CPU expert here but for a start broadwell will b using an even smaller die of 14nm compared to 22nm for haswell nw so maybe e chassis can be even thinner? honestly I dun think it can go any thinner haha. any thinner u wun b able to house e USB ports at e side liao.

e onboard graphics will continue to improve also n e power efficiency speculated to improve up to 30%. maybe can squeeze another 1 to 2 hrs of batt life out of e MBA

I got my refreshed MBP 15 with the dedicated graphics card.

No regrets.

Use it for work such as mails, premiere and bootcamp into Windows 8 for gaming. No issues.

Hi guys I have a question here.

Retailers are clearing the pre-refresh MBP at $200 below the SRP of the refreshed MBP. I can only spot a difference on 0.2ghz. Do you guys think getting the pre-refreshed model is worth it?

I'm comparing the middle & highest spec 13" of both model

$1788 vs $1988 & $2188 vs $2388

Can anyone confirm how many spatial streams does the rMBP 15" refreshed version has? Only know its using wireless AC, not sure how fast can it reach max speed.:s22:

Can't find a teardown for the latest refreshed MacBook Pros, but if it's the same as last year's, then it uses a Broadcom BCM4360 - 3 streams, 1.3Gbps.
