to Monterey

Think those on big sur dont really need to upgrade. no difference. but monterey felt faster than windows 11

Anyone tried to install Monterey on unsupported models? There is third party patch that downloads files from Apple and installs on your old MBP, but I am wondering if any side effects by doing so? And what about future upgrades after installed Monterey?

it is harmless. When apple remove cpu support for older models, open core can emulate newer cpu on older hardware so everything works.

When you connect your device, open up Finder and it’ll appear on the left side menu, click on your device name and you can see all the details.

How is the battery life under Monterey? Was looking at getting M1 MacBook Air for programming. Anyway what ThinkPad you are using?

no different from windows. using x260 because it supports old school external 72wh battery for 10h battery life. plus replacement lg batteries only cost $60

I had issues with Onedrive after updating to 12.3. Seems to be a well-known issue but I still cannot get mine to work. Files not sync and I cannot download some older files using the app... Sigh.

Well…. Onedrive is from Microsoft
And Apple has their own icloud

not surprised that This is a long standing issue

Did everything, uninstall/install but still can't access internet.
