If box spoil during this period, the replacement will not work til the system is up i.e. regardless of issues, need the system to be up first.

I'm using unblockbox at the moment.
Damn solid. I will most likely buy another one.

Versus Maige

Clarity - My eyes can't tell any differences. Talking about a 32" room TV.

Speed - There's probably 3 to 8 apps with a few sources each for most channels, there's probably at least one that is okay.

Channels - Maige has a higher percentage of working channels. UB box has more channels. If you want to look for this specific channel and it can't work on this app, then try another app.

Cost - UB is half the price with no further subscriptions. HK919 (S$169) with delivery. Heard SLS is selling too but more exp.

Interface - Maige is easier as you don't need to look through different apps to find a movie/channel.

VOD - Both have them

Others:
1. UB has its own UB app and comes with many other paid IPTV programs. I think it's tapping into them.
Meaning it's very resilient to be completely down with so many sources.

2. UB is working throughout this "high risk" period.

3. UB can view Singapore channels like Ch U, Ch 5, Ch 8.

4. UB can watch a lot of Taiwan channels, there's hardly any on Maige.

5. UB can watch Malaysia and India channels :vijayadmin:

6. UB can find even more channels form CN/HK.

7. Maige has i think 1/4 of the channel list of Korean and Japanese channels, which I don't watch.

8. UB has inbuilt Wifi

9. UB has mirroring apps to play on other TV screens,i think can do it remotely.
Maige cannot mirror to another TV screen at all, you must buy a new maige box for another TV. Super bad point.

10. UB can also mirror to mobile devices, as far as i can see, can do remotely.
Maige can only do within the same Internet network with wifi, with same IP.

Summary.
If both are working perfectly which will i buy?

UB.

I ordered from ub site directly.

One week delivery.

Just to add on two points, don't mean maige don't lag at all.
I'm running direct cable to my iptv.

And ub is an android box. Can download to use other apps.
The controller is flimsy but easier to use.

Unblock Technology - Customer Services

Mobile: 852 6764 3560 (Whatsapp Only)

Youtube https://www.youtube.com/user/unblocktech
Website http://www.unblocktech.com/
Email info@unblocktech.com

The guys will most likely reply in Chinese.
But they understand English. Most likely Hong Kongers.

When you order, just say want the ub 2 iptv box.
Also tell them want it with 3 pin UK plug, 220-240v will do.

Can pay by PayPal.
So i emailed them or order from their website?

I used the email to order.

Just tell them your address, then 3 pin plug and power and pay by paypal.
Maybe ask for quote first.

I think whatsapp works too, and probably faster.

I have just contacted my AliExpress reseller "Coco Huang". She said "two weeks" more to restore.
I think it will eventually work for a while before going down again.

The problem with Maige is they are too dependent on China servers, where it's illegal, and they have no interest in resolving it by shifting more servers overseas.

I'm interested with the UB box too.

But I also want to use it as a media box to play 4k content on my 4k tv.
Anybody able to test out or confirm if this box really can support 4k?

does UBOX2 have any HD channels? Channel 5,8 HD or normal? Or is the output capped at 720p?
