Can't check for you now, cause people are using the box.

I saw the channel, but can't be sure if it works or how many alternatives it has.

I'm using unblockbox at the moment.
Damn solid. I will most likely buy another one.

Versus Maige

VOD - Both have them

Others:
3. UB can view Singapore channels like Ch U, Ch 5, Ch 8.

4. UB can watch a lot of Taiwan channels, there's hardly any on Maige.

7. Maige has i think 1/4 of the channel list of Korean and Japanese channels, which I don't watch.

Summary.
If both are working perfectly which will i buy?

UB.

Hmm. Not trying to defend Maige or something, but I got to clarify a few pts.

- How is the VOD for UB? Maige VOD is damnnn solid. With eng subs + chinese subs, so the whole of family able to understand.

- 3. Maige also have local channels like HD 5 and HD 8.

- 4. Maige doesn't have TW channels? It has all the major TW channels. The other small ones i probably wont watch anyway.

- 7. Agree. I don't watch Korean and Japanese too. But they are not for you and me but for the korean and japanese users.

:s12::s12::s12: Anyway, hope Maige won't be perma down. It is so goooodd..

VOD quality is similar or at least good enough, nobody in my home complain yet. There are many apps available and many sources have subtitles.

As for TW channels, Maige only have the mainstream channels, don't have those hokkien channels old people like to watch.

I don't mean UB is better in quality.
I think everyone knows that.

UB
Quality 7/10
Price 9/10
Variety 9/10
Reliability 7/10
Versatility 9/10
User Interface 6/10

Maige
Quality 10/10
Price 1/10
Variety 6/10
Reliability 3/10
Versatility 1/10
User Interface 10/10

If we only look at UI and quality, yes Maige wins.
But I think they lost everything else.
It really depends on what the user expect.

One thing for sure, no matter how good Maige is, it's already history.
It will remain down, or with a lot of stoppage of service in future as the law in China won't change to accommodate them.
Nobody will buy them anymore and eventually it will go down.

Can, it's an android box.
You can buy other subscriptions from other iptv to add on or use it for other purposes.

It won't be a paperweight.
