Hotlink no such thing ah? :(

https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/tnc/plan-services/hotlink-fast-plan.html

Your Service(s) Lifecycle

Your top-up amount will determine the number of active-days to make calls, SMS, and access to the internet.
After the Active Period ends, you can only receive incoming calls and SMS'. During the Credit Grace Period, all balance from credit & Mobile Internet passes will be suspended from usage.
You must top-up to resume full Service(s). Failure to top-up before the end of the Credit Grace Period will result in line termination.
FAST Hotlink Plan gives you 50 days of Credit Grace Period.

min top rm5 ????

topup rm5 get 5 active day
50 days grace period
topup rm5 get 5 active day
50 days grace period
topup rm5 get 5 active day

50 days grace period
topup rm5 get 5 active day
50 days grace period
topup rm5 get 5 active day
50 days grace period

total days = 385 days
Total topiup rm 5 x 7 times = rm35

For those users doing 1-day activation solely for the purpose of "refreshing" the grace period, you can also look at the option of credit sharing.

Hotlink's Share-A-Top-Up

As usual, don't forget to read the FAQ as well.

I had one hotlink FAST that i bought in KLIA2. forgot to topup on 23rd nov and it was past the 50day grace period. the menu was in english.

so this time round when i went melaka, i bought one more from the digi shop opposite De Ocean Hotel where i had my dim sum. It was the last Hotlink FAST on display and i bought it. It took 1hr after i inserted the simcard to get it registered on the network. When i did the *100#, the menu was in english.

had to google the translation and saw the guide to do the 6,1,3 to change it to english. but after the 6,1 , i saw english was listed as 2 and chinese was 3....

the wait for the menu took almost 1/2 a day and it was switched by 2pm.

Means that your SIM card must be at least 1 month old.

Celcom Xpax has similar function like Digi.

Type "1day" and send to "28882"

Celcom will send a message "U have requested to purchase 1day validity @RM1. To proceed, send YES 1DAY to 28882"

Therefore, the line will have 1 day validity and 40 days of grace period.

unlike other telcos, celcom seems to prefer sms text to ussd.

when roaming in singapore, such shortcode sms might be costly or might not work.

I always do the "1DAY" activation from home before setting out. No charge. ;)

Never have this problem. Been doing it for the past 1 year. No charges using sms as it is messaging Celcom, zero sms charges. In fact, I did it again 2 weeks ago, no extra charges or have it failed before

Quite messy sia..:s13::s13:

At first my DA-RM3.31 & MA-RM10.95, after topped up RM50 and buy SP JOM5GB, immediately received a SMS mentioned "Your account has no available credit"

Checked via selfcare; my DA-RM0 & MA-RM11.76; I decided to top up another RM10 and now DA-15.76 & MA-RM6.00. :s22::s22:

Overall the balance is not tally with what I had topped up, I received extra RM1.26 in my account. =:p

By the way, is there any SMS notification after bought their season pass?

Within few days time, do nothing but my DA balance drop from RM15.76 to RM9.86. :s11::s22:

Anybody experienced this before? I am going to contact the dealer.

Lol, what this gonna do with whether I pay or not for the GST. :s11:

Every top-up they will deduct the GST first and credit the remaining to our account.

Once the amount credited to our account, without do anything they will still deduct GST??

I keep a record of my OneXOX transactions, just checked and all seems okay. RM0 in my MA...

From what I can see, calls and SMS will be deducted from DA first, and GST deductions also from this account. Season Pass purchases will be deducted from MA first, then eats into DA if there's not enough credit in the former. I was told that it's not necessary to have credit balance in both accounts, as deductions will just be from one to another, whichever comes first according to the type of transactions.

As for your case, the RM5.90 deducted doesn't look like GST for your latest 2 reloads even if deductions were done a while after it. Have you logged into your account online to see if recent transactions are listed there?

@what88 Bro, which method did you use to buy the Season Pass? If it's via SMS which in SG, there's a RM2.50 charge for roaming SMS...

Just a wild thought as I checked back on my transactions and noticed that my latest SP was via the app (I did a screenshot), while earlier ones had RM2.50 charged each time since I did those from home before I got the app.
