Malaysia VEP Registration Issue

According to main website, tag portion under pending status. I tried the new link as shared above and my email is stated as not valid. Oh well. Will just wait and see. Don’t think there is a rush to get the tag done for now.

Indeed... Just print out a copy of your submission and keep it inside your car. Since VEP thingy starts and i registered my first ride till now 4th car liao, repeating the steps over and over again.
Recently, my brother did received a email asking him to click on a link to make payment and book a slot for VEP tag collection. He also not so keen to do it. VEP also no chase him.
My case still no sound no picture from VEP.

In summary: how to make deductions from the card's balance even when it is linked to the eWallet.

Touch ‘n Go (TNG) is probably one of the most fragmented payment systems in the country... Agree! It is a scam card!

Once PayDirect is disabled, tapping your TNG card will only deduct from the card’s balance...ensure that the card has a sufficient balance at all times

In my case I separated eWallet & card...ie my partner uses the eWallet app in her phone while I've the cards (2 cards) linked to the app (without activating eWallet) in my phone - we carry one card each. She uses the eWallet (VEP RFID auto deduction) when crossing to JB & the card for purchases & parking fee.

Plenty of TnG online. Buy once and enjoy the trip. Simple. Don't need apply this and that. Then another set of problem would surface.

I received VEP tag recently. When register TnG eWallet, I input the SGP NRIC ID. But the account verification step requires photo shot of SGP passport. In the ID field, the eWallet App automatically recognises and fills the passport ID. Following suggestions online, I attempted to use NRIC ID number instead, but account verification always failed due to "Documents do not match"... Any suggestions? Thank you so much. It's said VEP and eWallet can link up only if NRIC ID is used. Is there something changed recently in TnG eWallet App?

However, no eKYC is required for users with basic functions and lower limit (max of RM200)

For non MY, passport is required.

Even after Verification I can't use DuitNow (MY's PayNow) as it doesn't accept non MY Phone Number.

So don't waste time verifying your TnG account.

Follow the instructions listed out in your VEP application. If stated NRIC is required then use NRIC.

I'm sure the lower usage one. As long as I have that VEP registered, I'll just use the normal TNG card for payment and do the normal topup. don't intend to use that app to do any payments or top up.

You can still link the card to its app but don't do Verification.

This way you can view its balance, usages & make office claims ie if your office allows you to.

Linking the card also extends its expiry period.

Note that the card's transactions will only show 24 hours later.

I tried, can't bypass verification. I tried to add card into the app, immediately it asked me to do the account verification, and can't skip. Maybe the app has made changes already.

Yeah, I may have forgotten about the procedure.

Then I guess do like me - have your partner link the cards into his/her phone.

you need to.. because they need you to upload a photo of your car + the VEP tag. so don't think you can skip it.
