that is where the irony comes in........
not sure if u notice.. when they start to put Maguire as a make shift striker... they will start pumping ball into the penalty box....... but seldom do so if Hojlund was playing..... although both of them are of similar height..
that's cos Hojlund rarely attempt to jump for the ball.
His team mates knows it.
even a simple pass to his feet he can fumble.

Premier League side Man Utd have been ‘offered’ a Barcelona player in exchange for Marcus Rashford this summer, according to reports.

Man Utd don’t want to loan Rashford out this summer but the La Liga giants ‘can’t currently afford to pay directly’ for the €4om asking price.

But ‘an idea has emerged and begun to circulate strongly within the sporting management: offering Marc-Andre ter Stegen as part of a player swap.’

Barcelona ‘would be open to including the German in the deal if the signing of Joan Garcia is finally completed’ with Man Utd ‘looking for a goalkeeper’ after Onana’s poor season in net.

Ter Stegen ‘would be willing to accept a change of scenery’ after ‘feeling he is being pushed towards the exit door’ in recent weeks because of Barcelona’s search for a new goalkeeper.

And now Barcelona and Man Utd’s idea of a potential swap deal ‘is already on the table and has begun to be considered by both sides’.

Bruno still have 3 yrs contract which is about 46M pound....
ask Al-Hilal to increase the transfer price to 130M with MU coming up with another 16M to buy out Bruno contract.... still a 100M profit to the club.
Why are we paying money to buy out Bruno's contract?

Just ask Al-Hilal to top up the offer to 146m faster lol.

United legend Neville believes that Cunha could be the “spark” that United have needed and could “shine a light” for the Premier League club going into next season.

Speaking on Cunha, he added: “Am I excited? Yeah, I am excited by it because United need players who know the Premier League, have got a bit more robustness about them in terms of what they’ve been through before and being at Wolves… that’ll be tough because they lose quite a few matches.

“I’m hoping that he can shine a light. I’m not saying one player is going to change what’s going on at the moment, but one player can be a spark.”

Cunha played in 36 matches across all competitions for Wolves in the 2024-25 campaign and the Brazil forward netted 17 times and registered six assists.

freedom!!!!!

he is now a -5mil player 😂
historically record?
However, United in Focus has been informed by transfer expert Graeme Bailey that the reason the deal fell apart is because Sancho was not willing to take a hit to his salary.

Sancho is currently earning £325,000 per week and Chelsea wanted him to take a near 50 percent cut to his wages in order to sign a deal at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea saw the £25 million buy clause as good value, but were not willing to offer Sancho a big-money contract. United decided against putting any money into the deal given they have already suffered a huge hit on the £73 million deal for Sancho.

Sancho & Rashford performed badly for Man Utd because they are earning too much. Man Utd should terminate Sancho contract or he will continue to get this salary until his contract expired.

Manchester United are prepared to launch a ‘formal’ bid for Bryan Mbeumo after the Brentford ace chose the Red Devils over three rival clubs, and a ‘verbal agreement’ with the forward has quickly been struck, according to reports.

Matheus Cunha will become Man Utd’s first signing of the summer to the tune of £62.5m. However, the fact that amount will be paid in three separate instalments means Man Utd are not on the hook for the full fee right now.

As such, the Red Devils still have financial wriggle room and aim to wrap up a deal for Bryan Mbeumo with all haste.

According to a fresh update from Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, a ‘verbal agreement’ on personal terms between Man Utd and Mbeumo is ‘done’.

Attention has now shifted to forging a club-to-club agreement with Brentford who have set their stall out at £50m.

As such, the Bees are not expected to compromise on the fee and £50m is what it will take for Man Utd to seal a deal.

Speaking on the It’s Called Soccer show ahead of the latest development, Neville insisted the reported £100million fee would have been a good deal for United as they strive to remain within PSR restrictions. However, the Sky Sports pundit said his former club also need a player of Fernandes’ quality and leadership.

Neville said: “I’m torn on this one because if the £100million fee is right and United get that, I don’t think it’s a bad fee. In fact, I think it’s a great fee for someone at that age. United have had great years out of him. But I also think, if he stays, [he’s saying] ‘No, I want fight this out and turn it around’. I also think that’s a great thing as well.

“So I’m 50-50 in what I think about it. The £100million United need to rebuild the squad. On the other hand, they need players with personality and quality, and they haven’t got that many. In fact, he’s the only one they’ve got. For me, it's a no-lose situation.”

Must be joking to build the team around Fernandes when he is 30 yrs old. Build the team around a player who is 25 to 28 yrs old.
