not referring to u 😅
I'm not one of those fans that say we not splashing the cash. Seriously I don't see how the players we want to buy really add value to us.

The real proven players are out of reach. The players we want to buy are frankly over valued in my opinion and are calculated gamble at best.
i cant see any value in those linked to us right now. like u said, they are at best, gambles. i dont even know how they gonna fit into the team or tactics.

INEOS already made it very clear no money, so this pace in the trf window is expected, we haven't moved on our top earners.

take sancho for an example. chelsea offered him 180k plus add on to 200k but he rejected insisting on 300k.

utd lowered his transfer fee by 10 mil to offset his salary demands yet he wanted an extra 4.3 mil otherwise he don't want to leave.

he is not messi or ronaldo quality where he can make such demands. at most an average player.

most of utd top earners are like this. rashford, onana and casemiro are similar. can only run down their contracts and released them.

Bryan mubemo is not worth the crazy price brentford are demanding now in other words they don't want to sell him.
We don't have the money to spend big either until we get rid of rashford sancho antony garnacho.

We are only buying some unknown youngsters for the academy team

"sacking" will still get compensation of the salary for the remaining length of the contract.

high chance this window can sell sancho to juve. from the rumour, utd will pay sancho extra 4.3 mil to leave and will accept 15 mil transfer fee from juve.

Ratcliffe knows how to sack the staff but he doesn't know how to sack the players. Maybe he thinks Man Utd will be able to get good transfer fees from selling them.
you can't just sack a player who are under contract like you can with staff who has no or minimal contract.

the payoff is just too great. and don't compare it with how they sack managers as manager earn lesser than the players. you only sack 1 manager...now we are talking about sacking several players on super high salaries at a go which is close to impossible.
gotta be realistic in our expectations when SJR bought the club. he has no money and he has just inherited the problems caused by the Glazers.

it will take another 2-3 summers before we can do anything in terms of getting good signings.
the only way now is too look for bargains in overseas young players or groom the U21 players.

its difficult to change the culture of the club overnight when we already have young players that are used to getting high salaries and will not move on unless they can get similar or higher wages elsewhere.

or...some of them (touch wood) died, then the club has no obligation to pay off their remaining contract.

Good riddance Onana is too error prone should be sold ffs getting rid of de Gea to buy this clown is the worst ever transfer for the club

Every time end of the week. Supposed to sign him before pre-season started. When it failed supposed to sign him end of last week. When it failed again now will sign him end of next week.
