Is United doing a Leeds? Spending big transfer fee on players with no results :x

will sticking with Ruben Amorin be the final straw?? Haha seeing how bad it was for post season, doesn't look promising next season.

At least they buying premier league proven players that terrorise mid table club :p Ruben need his winger to defend right and run alot right? But read Cunha love to walk lol

isn't chelsea worst. they bought enough players to field 2 to 3 squads.

Wright shared what he thinks will happen with Mbeumo if he joins the Red Devils.

The pundit thinks Mbeumo could actually go to another level if he goes to United, claiming that he’ll thrive under the pressure that comes from joining a top club.

“When you saw it, like obviously Ivan Toney took all the plaudits at Brentford, but when you watched him then and watched the, you’re looking at it now and it’s more consistent, and you think, yeah. It’s the only thing I’m surprised about with him, is that he’s only 26,” Wright said.

“You know something, if he goes to United I think that he’s somebody that, if he gets in the moments that he’s had for Brentford, for United, he will then realise where he is. Because he goes to another level with the attention from United.”

Manchester United have upped the ante in their pursuit of Viktor Gyokeres after head coach Ruben Amorim has made it clear to the Old Trafford hierarchy that he is desperate to seal a reunion with the Sporting star ahead of his first full season at the helm, GIVEMESPORT sources have revealed.

https://www.givemesport.com/manches...tact-sign-gyokeres-after-mbeumo-old-trafford/

Sign Mbeumo 1st. Already problem getting the funds to sign him. Not sure if Gyokeres will be interested in joining Man Utd because no Champions League next season.

Brentford will milk the most out of the deal..
Mbeumo too...every player will look after their own interest first. hence why those that are willing to forgo UCL/UEL are only keen in high wages that Utd is capable of giving rather than win silverware/honours for the club.

this is the club culture that was built upon after SAF left

so don't be too happy when we hear reports that we are still able to attract so called "big name" players even when we are not playing in Europe. they are not after silverware for the club....they are after the money and to secure a good fortune for their retirement.

Former Manchester United defender Alvaro Carreras is reportedly set to join Real Madrid, who have now reached an agreement with Benfica.

then more reason Bruno should have gone to Saudi !!!

well the club needed to get back some success after Fergie's retirement.
Hence they need to get big players to help the club.... unfortunately most of these players had passed their prime or last min kan cheong purchase... or they were being played in the wrong position.
Felliani was the first..... along the way.. came Bastian Schweinsteiger, Pogba, Zlatan.... probably hit the peak with Sanchez..... all these players with crazy salary but never really produce performance of any consistent due to injury or simply CMi... and then when Ole took over.... the crazy transfer money for Maguire, Sancho and Varane ( both with big weekly salary) ........ #10 took it to a new level with all his signing that had crazy transfer price again...and then along the way renew current players with crazy salary package

seem like it will repeat for RA as well...

no ucl, no europa, no trophy, slim chance to get into top 4 so only big money can get good players to join unless you want those young unknowns from championship league.

utd don't have enough time to slowly find young unknowns. they need fast results.

from rumour, mbuemo most likely will be getting 150k per week.

by rejecting the big move, it does show that Bruno is interested in winning things again for Utd and not going for the money. Who knows, by rejecting them..he may do us a favour...the club now wouldn't be able to spend crazy money for inflated transfer fees and wages which will allow the culture to continue.
