A dumb question- what it mean refund excess amount to DSC bank account?

It means any portion of the application money that is not successful will be refunded to the bank account that you are using to get your current dividends.

DSC = Direct Crediting Service

If you need more info >> HERE (Scroll down until you see DSC)

The instruction on how to use PayNow will be included in the booklet that will be send to you,

You can also read it >> HERE

Basically, the instruction is to use your banking app and scan the QR Code on the form that you will receive.

I think the first thing you need to do is to change the PayNow limit on your account if you have not done so. The current limit should be $5K if you have not changed it. If you are planning to buy more than 2,000 units, then you will need to change the limit first or the transfer will fail.
i'm guessing paynow will not incur charges?
i went to ATM and got charged $2 hahaha.

not that $2 is a lot but still...

Will you get odd lots if you apply for excess?

It's on page 19 of the link posted by @Paul Lee.

You can also read it >> HERE

In the allotment of Excess New Units, preference will be given to Eligible Unitholders for the rounding of odd lots, and Directors and Substantial Unitholders (each as defined herein) who have control or influence over MIT or the Manager in connection with the day to day affairs of MIT or the Manager or the terms of the Preferential Offering, or have representation (direct or through a nominee) on the board of directors of the Manager will rank last in priority.

I think most likely you won't get odd lot, unless you are the lucky few.

is there any existing shareholder, you are allocated with odd lots (e.g. 52). this is very irritating.

can you apply for additional excess new units (e.g. 48), so that your total is 100 units (52 +42) ?

Yes, you can and you should. Priority will be given to you to round up your odd lots, but only if you subscribed for the additional new units.

Not true.

Your PayNow account and DCS account can be different.
It means any portion of the application money that is not successful will be refunded to the bank account that you are using to get your current dividends.

DSC = Direct Crediting Service

Good that is go to the bank account that collect CD. Means no need set up paynow account also can get refund for those using paynow new method.
