Anyone gotten the $30 bonus for charging $300 on the first 30 days? Their in app chat keep saying I am not eligible but can't tell me why I am ineligible for the bonus.

When did you sign up yours?

I sign up in end June. My fam sign up mid July. My fam acc got a tracker to trace eligible spend. My one doesn't have that. I have clocked finish my $300 spend but until now i haven't gotten my $30.

I am now trying to chat them but cs says the fulfilment date is somewhere in Oct according to tnc. But my fam though sign up 2 weeks after me has already gotten $30 credited shortly after the tracker meets $300. I ask why so but the cs couldn't reply me. In the first place why my account has no tracker but my fam one has? This by itself is already a mystery.

I'll have to ding dong with them until they fulfill their terms.

maybe u can write in and list your spendings, add up the total for clarification.

Just sharing my experience. I was referred to open account thru my friend. At the end me and my friend both didn't get our referral$.
At the same time i refer my 2 family members to open account. I personally sit there guide them to input my referral number.

At the end none of us gotten our referral fee. I called up to check. They confirm my one got input but my 2 fam didn't. How could that be? As I'm the one sitting there confirm they input and click apply.

Long story short. At the very very end, i am the only one gotten the $5 after i called in many times cos i am really frustrated with how they do things.

After keep chasing then they issue me the $5. But my friend who refer me didn't get anything even after he called in personally. he doesn't mind about such thing. But i find it ridiculous. Mayb just my luck lor. Like this instead of issuing $5 × 6, they only issue $5 × 1.

Anyway no energy to chase. Just leave it.

But this $30 spend rewards I'll chase cos i spend $300 for it.

Same here. I referred my dad and we nvr get reward. Even made a shopee purchase as 1 of the requirements. Pui!

See! They suka suka one. Their cs also quite poor thing. They all agree i should get but week after week receiving my call they also puzzled what their backend is doing.

Was there a first XXXX quota? Happened to me previously where I was supposed to get a new user spending cashback reward but they asked me to wait, then in the end told me I was not within the first XXXX.

The promo is ongoing runs until end 2025. Don't think is quota issue.

So yours you applied BEFORE 1st Feb this year?

I ask them which transaction is ineligible but they are unable to pinpoint which transaction. Then they come up with excuses that everything has to be posted within 30 days. I told them I am aware of this and highlighted that my last transaction was posted 14 days before my 30 days deadline.

Then they come back and say that I have underspent by $XYZ amount. I citied my statement bill amount and can't find any transactions that match the shortfall amount they quoted me (as I thought maybe some of the transactions are ineligible). Anyway, they can't tell me anything concrete except to keep repeating a canned response. You are not eligible.

I have a feeling that their chat CSO also don't know why anyone is ineligible and just let it slide.

Applied in Apr 2025.

This is really bad. But I'm not surprised at all. Like i say, their cs is only a front. They are there to just pass messages. The real ppl who can decide are hidden backend and their frontline has absolutely no idea what is going on.

I actually wanted to go to their Facebook to ask them openly but to my shock, they already have enough complains there (concerning banking services) where all given manufactured replies.
Yes. Seems like no one that can be contacted at Maribank can help. The one that knows is uncontactable because their live chat CSO is either unwilling to give out the information or don't even have the information. Scary to place money with this bank that is "uncontactable" in that sense as their CSO is like you say just a front.

To be fair, many banks are now like this, sad to say. Especially they sub out their customer service team to elsewhere. Many are out of Sg.

On our end we can only keep calling persistently ask them to give definite answer if we want to pursue.

Keep calling them also no use. They just don't have the information on why I am ineligible except that they know I am ineligible. At least the latest CSO is frank enough to tell me that upfront.
