i recall seeing a poster sharing about it in money-mind forum. [To be validated] Settlement is NOT immediate and large buy/spread due to embedded fees.

the 24/7 feature (if true) is like-for-like with the DBS announcement but without physical redemption.

ocbc precious metal a/c , can buy gold silver , no annual fee but spread quite high , about 3% difference in buy sell price. I remember last time post from @sohguanh using this too.

MIG is good with $1 minimum , wìthin bank app , currency risk hedged , etc.
ETFs r most cost effective but I find inconvenient to use broker apps , forex risk , they have their own set of fees too including currency conversion fee of about 0.3% etc etc headache haha , rather invest Gold in SGD

Yes hopefully , infact even yesterday Gold held quiet well between $4080-$4120 , than some jump today to $4200 haha.
Next cause of swing to watch out for will be Kevin Warsh taking over FED meeting next week on 16-17 June!

How many times we see how he flip flop his decision and then the stock market and all go up and down in big magnitude with "some ppl' profiting handsomely from all these decisions prior to it being announced. As long as he sit on the Emperor throne I would thread carefully. I intend to trim some and cut my losses and move on. To me US stock market is now having very big swing trending towards un-investible for my strategy. I believe emerging markets got more future and it show in my own portfolio.

yeah , now below $4200 alr , below 200 days moving average , GOLDen opportunity to DCA.
You DCA almost everyday ya , I remember 1 time u said DCA daily until $4600 levels.

Yup, now my avg NAV is 1.07 (all time high avg NAV was 1.11, can you believe it?). Have stopped DCA, will only do opportunistic lump sum.

Stock market will reach ATH as long as he is on the throne. I think there are people monitoring his buy and sell on his portfolio.

Depends before 9am or after 9am cut off time ,
if before 9am will complete on Monday afternoon , if after 9am will be tuesday afternoon.

lock in current price can only do via ocbc , uob gold a/c or ETFs.
Mutual Funds like MIG / GXS are different animal , they follow LBMA AM price which is publish once a day , not the price at the time you submit order.
Totally different mechanics! They cut the noise , if you want to invest for long term than hourly fluctuations dont matter.
In MIG if you want todays price , just buy before 9am to lock todays price and it will reflect in app next business day

To simpify , if you think today price good , just buy MIG before 9am to get todays price.

Processing / reflect in app is next bussiness day but the price you get is of the day you placed order. (exclude weekends)

Even easier is just buy once every few weeks or monthly without looking at spot price haha , many ppl do it this way to hold long term.
