Gold moving quite firmly off the 4kUSD “floor” +2.4% past 24hrs.

buy the dip on MIG for a quicker and easier exit before year-end.
4.2kUSD cleared. There may be profit taking in APAC, UK trade today.

otherwise next resistance 4.35kUSD

Gold up so much. Why buy!?
Because i personally think there is more to go > we might see a repeat of last yr’s pattern post-summer (post NDP for us).

for others on this thread, some have been negative on MIG in recent months. Buy this move up to average down and have an easier/quicker (breakeven) exit by the yr-end.

The problem with some ppl is greedy. High can go higher than they don't sell wait. Gold is like equities in terms of playing style

Moved all out into MISE, can’t imagine keeping in MII all the way this year.

STI/MISE is at the upper range now. Enter current levels at own risk.

MII will probably recover a bit before dropping again. Mid term down trend no change.

I am monitoring carefully for a right price level before I jump ship and take as less capital loss as possible. 🤣

Moved my position, I sniped 280726 MISE NAV Price of 1.9543, with 170826 payout of about SGD 122.80 confirmed.

Current MISE position (not counting 170826 payout yet):
Unrealised Return: +SGD 19.96
Realised Return: +SGD 824.26 (Total Gains: +SGD 639.56, Total Payouts: +SGD 184.70)

You are lucky and sold at the right time, 060826 MIG NAV Price 0.9622, up from 040826 MIG NAV Price 0.9105. Also imagine selling before 0859, you could have gotten 050826 MIG NAV Price 0.9344 which makes it a lost opportunity to earn extra from 060826 MIG NAV Price 0.9622.

Gold just crossed 4.3kUSD in UK trade. According to TA, bull run starts if it stays above this level at US close tonight.

MIG exit for some on this thread is getting closer

Ppl will then ask will the bull run exceed say 5200? Then some may hold and wait some let go some along the way. Never thought gold works just like stocks and shares.

My MIG position right now:
Unrealised Return: -SGD 100.30
Realised Return: +SGD 258.43
Total Return: +SGD 158.13
Need Gold to cross over 4508 to make unrealised return become positive.

Will it be too late? Already up 300 points from 4k
If you use the previous bull run to 5k the speed is quite fast within days like US stocks so I believe semi-active monitoring is needed. I never thought gold works like stocks so scary.
