Was initially disappointed with the nerf hitting the promo period then somewhat impressed that Mari retrospectively revised the bonus interest upwards to maintain the previously advertised 3.5%.
Yup same roller coaster expectations, but so far been impressed.

You must be refering to Mari Invest SavePlus. Zero payout happens when there is no change to NAV. If you withdraw on Thursday and buy on Friday, there may be a delay whereby the sales is only fulfilled next week.

Are you aware that you are buying a Money Market Fund? It's not a bank deposit.

Mari Invest Income payout is coming
Mmm... I dont understand the math for the invest income.

On 1 Apr 2025 i put 10k in invest income to try out. end of april i was paid $53.44 but i used it to reinvest back. I also then reinvested back the may interest at $53.73

Now my current market value is $9896.47 and my total return is -$49.80

Why is my market value is value much lesser considered i reinvested the interested earned. The Math dont work for me.

Anyone can explain to me?

Thank you.

just curious, has anyone ran the numbers on the regular savings account vs the performance on saveplus? it says in the app right now that the past 4 week return is 2.73%. I'm wondering if it has ever dipped below the 2.8% on the savings account and if so how often

savings is currently 2.28% (1.88% wef 16 jun) which is less than saveplus 2.73%.

there is no maths in investment. u can simply earn or lose even with the monthly payouts.

If you read the propectus, the underlying product is PIMCO GIS Income Fund Admin SGD Hedged.

What would have happened, is that the NAV has dropped below what you have originally bought. That's the nature of PIMCO Income Fund. You may check the historical NAV for performance in link below and calculate your profit/loss.

I had sell off the income after 3 months of investing , gain nothing , taking my principle amount to pay my dividend.

You must have bought prior to Liberation Day. Else, after the announcement the NAV was around low of 9.42. The current NAV is about 9.48. You would have gained NAV + the almost fixed payouts.

You need to hold for longer duration, like about 3-4years.

With 80% vested in US bond , and on going tariff war , and the mad man stirring **** , totally no confidence in this anymore after seeing every payout , the NAV sink even lower. Rather earn less in save plus then earn nothing in income

PIMCO Fixed Income works like a Annuity Plan. This plan gives you fixed income, ignoring any capital gain or loss. This is very suitable for those approaching or into retirement.

If interests/capital gain is your objective, PIMCO is not for this purpose. The SavePlus which is a Money Market Fund would fit this.

I think I missed this. Where do you see it?
https://www.lionglobalinvestors.com/en/fund.html?officialNav=OFBF

I got a daily return of 0 for today for SavePlus. Do the returns vary this much or am I missing something?
Positive, Negative, NIL are the 3 possible outcomes for investments.
Quoting myself here...
25 days of ZERO since 05 Feb 2024 (when i joined)
1 day of NEGATIVE since 05 Feb 2024

You can extrapolate from this sample.
