U need to buy $50k of Mari invest saveplus from your savings acct. Your savings acct balance has no impact on this promo.

The promo is capped up to 50k anyway. And I believe you can always top up more than 100K anyway. When you sell off you can set the transfer to another bank account.

User can put in 100k max in maribank at any point of time. Interest computed daily and given to you are not within this limit (i think).

The promo only capped at 50K incremental anyways so no point going over that.

Point 4.1 - Promotion Mechanics
The first 2,500 Eligible Customers to complete an Incremental Investment of SGD10,000 to SGD50,000 as detailed in clause 2.9, with Fresh Funds as detailed in clause 2.5, will be entitled to receive SGD8 worth of Bonus Returns in the Fund for every SGD10,000 of Incremental Investment, capped at a maximum reward of SGD40 worth of Bonus Returns per customer. The Incremental Investment will be recognised in multiples of SGD10,000, with any amounts in excess of such multiples disregarded for the purposes of calculating the Promotion reward.

I participated in the previous Mari saving promo (Can't remember its TnC liao) and already have 50k inside with daily interest.

I just tried to FAST another 50k in but cannot, it says it exceeded the max balance in my saving account, so I can only buy $49k of Mari invest saveplus. :(

Oh I get it. U need to maintain $50k in savings till 30 jun. Just deposit $40k to savings and buy saveplus. Then deposit $10k to savings and buy saveplus again. Total $50k in saveplus.

How come u can only buy $49k with $50k of money? Otherwise u buy $40k, u will get $32 bonus.

I spoke to the live chat, he confirmed with me initially daily interest is not part of the 100k cap, then he said i can only transfer in max 49840.46, so I asked him where the $159.54 come from?

Then he ack that daily interest is part of the 100k cap... :(

Not cap as in, the acct can be more than $100k with int but when transferring in money, the total balance inclusive of int cannot exceed $100k.
Ah ok. Now I am clear.

Because of the interest gained, the amount available to fast in reduced.

I was, for some reason, thinking of the other one, whereby there's 100k in it already and interest credit in 🙃

What was the Mari Invest Income NAV when you purchase it?!??! The current NAV is $9.51.
Its the same $9.51 but i reinvested my 1st payout so my current value is now slightly above my purchase at this moment.
i wish to keep this investment for the next 3 years

My strategy is to put 1:2 ratio into SavePlus:Income. Gains in SavePlus will hedge any capital lost in PIMCO, and you get fixed income from PIMCO.

For example 20K into SavePlus and 40K into Income.

Actually how risk adverse are you? And if you have any mid-long term use of the $40k?

For the kind of returns from Income, i rather put the money into any of the 3 local banks. Their dividends are stable so far and taking into consideration of the stock growth value. I rather put $40k into Mari save plus and the remaining $20k into Sg bank stocks.

Will consider myself mid-risk. Am retiring soon so will depend on PIMCO for supplementary monthly income.
