Don't meant to scare you. Want to scare @wutawa only :s21:
I initially posted to check if anyone here experience the same cos i have not seen anyone talking about those experiences here. They could be isolated case. They could also have been resolved no one knows.

Not that we scared Mari run road. Cos like you say MariSave itself is SDIC protected up to 100k. Not sure about Invest though.. 🤔

All said, as the saying goes, Don't put all eggs in 1 basket. And i don't think anyone in MoneyMind will go put All eggs into 1 basket.
Since my name is mentioned, I just want to counter the saying.
1. If all eggs = 1 egg, then all eggs in 1 basket
2. If other baskets r bad baskets (subjective to this basket), then all eggs in 1 basket

Just put your eggs in which ever places where u can rest assured. Don't put them in random places which will increase the risk of losing them.

I also used to spread out the funds into different baskets. But nowadays there ain't many similar baskets available anymore in the market. FD, TB, SSB, Digital Banks, Insurance products etc. are not very attractive anymore. Nonetheless, the search for new baskets is always ongoing.

So long as and when i need emergency fund, my funds must be available readily in at least 2 different banks. Just in case 1 ganna lock then still got another one to backup.

What is CMA?

Bitcoin wait for it to drop below 100k 吧. I go let go at 95k then it shoot up to current price. :(

For those comments that didn't show up under Most relevant, you have to ownself select "All comments".
You view a few others other than the 1st. Don't think they are only pertaining to overseas transactions.

Personally I'm still using Mari. Thankfully i haven't experience such blunt maybe i only keep to 10 to 20k..
Not a smearing campaign. Just to point out let's all becareful. Don't go all in can liao. In case sway sway dio lock or whatsoever.
apparantly acct or money locked happening to other banks too. u may refer to this thread if u face probs. my money too little to activate the "protection". using a 6 digits pin to protect a 3 digits balance. hehe

Yeah, i know it happens to other banks. But those comments about their acc being locked for days or weeks scared me. Not sure if they are related though. I only know Mari cs seems quite powerless. The only ones able to unlock are the backends. Hope they improve on their speed in assisting these customers..

Thing is, these other banks i can walk in and tell them I want to withdraw my money. But MariBank no physical branch i can't do that.
Yup, u can't do that for maribank, gxs and trust. No ATM too. Given the increase of scams, I fear the protection will only get worse. Pick the bank that suits your need.

Trust bank should be able to use some ATMs, although I have not tried withdrawing cash before.

Oops, u r right. Trust has 1 ATM and can use scb ATMs too.

You can easily withdraw cash from Trust / Standard Chartered Bank (SCB)’s ATM located across the island as well as overseas ATM with Visa enabled. You can find a Trust-branded ATM at FairPrice Xtra Vivocity, #B2-23 and SCB ATMs at Bedok Mall, Bugis Junction, Vivocity, Sixth Avenue, Clementi Mall, NEX Serangoon, Serangoon Garden, Marine Parade, Changi Business Park, Tampines, Marina Bay Financial Centre and Battery Road. (Further details can be found at  ATM Branch Locator).

Based on what was recorded for mari saveplus on the number of payouts per month.
August just week left with a week and is likely to hit a new LOW.
It is looking likely going to be below 2%.

Aug - 13X - current position
July - 24X
Jun - 21X
May - 23X
Apr - 27X
Mar - 22X

ive been transferring/re-allocating from saveplus to income this month in a few tranches, by next week i would have transferred everything out except for a few k left in saveplus for the instant withdrawal.

hopefully this income fund is decent and can gain at least 3% on average. will be shifting uob one funds into it as well during sept
