4.17% for past 4 weeks! This is going to overthrow Fullerton Cash Fund from the throne soon but somehow fund manager that put 1.7% on China dunno what investment instrument worry me. Anyone same thoughts?
I do not know how they calculate, but it's a 4 week return presented on an annualised basis, I guess the operative word is "presented" with some historical yields factored in on a rolling basis.

If the p.a yield is above 3.65% I guess should get above $1 yield per day per $10k, but so far my experience is less than that at $0.96-0.98.

U should be getting $1.14 per day for the last 4 weeks if its yield is really 4.17%. your actual return is 3.5% which is the same as ours.

They calculate based on the daily released NAV. Date1 price1 then Date2 price2. They assume if you put X dollars on date1 and then no sell that monies in the form of units will then be X% annualized on date2. It is same as how moomoo Fullerton Cash Fund count. They are mutual fund so price go up and down.

If you all find they are cheating by all means withdraw all and take your monies give other ppl earn. It is not mandatory.

Started on 2nd Feb, till now the total returns is about 3.76% PA based on my existing excel

Actually I also dunno how SCB eSaver bonus promo count always cannot tally but a lot of readers in this forum sumpah correct. So you see it is up to individual reader to decide the banks got play cheat or not. If you think they play cheat then withdraw your monies from them it is that simple. My thinking is these are banks they dare to play cheat not scared mas revoke their licence to operate in Spore?

You should count in this way
2 Feb you put X dollars. Based on X dollars and 2 Feb NAV you get Y units
Then say today you get today NAV and multiply by your 2 Feb units.

Mutual fund work on the concept of units.

Daily NAV is released on their LC website for SavePlus.

LOL learnt something today again.
Calculated and it almost the same. Differences probably are due to the decimals and rounding

As I said if you think they cheat you can withdraw all your monies and give other ppl earn. Mutual fund, stock, ETF all I got play a bit so know how it works. FD high yield savings account, chut pattern then got high yield account etc all play also. I diversify a lot. Only thing no monies play is flip property and car etc.

When I withdrew $100 (more than the yield accumulated) on 7 mar, the daily return dropped by 1 cent. Overall yield remains 3.53%.
I withdrew the yields as well, I suspected that the extra 2-digit figure on top of the 10k made negligible difference to the yield, and if it is really the case, they are actually getting "free" money to invest from me, so I withdrew them.

There was once I withdrew $39, initially the daily yield decreased by 1 cent which felt somewhat disproportionate, but it went back up again, no conclusions on this for the time being.

For me, there's a difference in thinking they cheat vs doing your own due diligence.

No, i don't think they cheat.
Yes, i don't believe their headline % PA.

They are not mutually exclusive

Agree which is why I have the same thinking like you on all the past SCB eSaver bonus promo. I don't think they cheat but I don't believe their headline % PA too and they are not mutually exclusive either.

past SCB eSaver bonus promo
CIMB and HSBC tallied well for me, but my first foray into merry go round was SCB Esaver. Couldn't tally as well. Maybe i have movements of cash past the cut off time? Who knows...

So far, for the first month, it matches what i have.

Anyway, does anyone know if I were to purchase additional X amount, do i calculate X and Y (previous purchase) together or to count it as separate items?

U don't seem to know how mutual fund works. Money market fund is the most stable so its return is almost consistent. The daily nav actually fluctuates.

You are probably right, but it does not aid me in deciding whether it is significantly more advantageous to keep the loose change invested or to simply withdraw them.

What I am trying to say is whatever you cannot tally with Mari Invest, for me is same I cannot tally with SCB eSaver either. Conclusion Mari Invest is like those banks promo some readers can tally some cannot so depend on each reader calculation.

And no I don't go posting in eSaver thread but since Mari Invest thread got ppl post cannot tally I guess I post my experience with eSaver to balance out the "complain"
