Anybody knows if I tap out at Newton North-South line station and tap in at the Newton Downtown Line station to continue my journey, is this considered as 1 trip or 2 trips for the 3 free rides?

Lol, dun think anyone knows for sure. Based on the definition of a trip in the TnC, I would think this is considered 2 trips.

I repeat: only the current MAN plat. card can be upgraded to a new card wif paypass (call and ask for replacement). My old MAN plat card din have so I called and asked for a new one.

The old MAN WORLD cc (still valid but no longer available for application if I'm not wrong) has not been upgraded wif paypass by SCB even if you ask for a new card.

I am extremely confused by this, since when did manhattan card have a platinum version? On the SC site there's only Manhattan world and the student manhattan $500 mastercard.

No, according to his post, the manhattan plat is current, and manhattan world has been grandfathered, which is what confuses me.

Manhatten platinum is older card. Still can be used if already have it, but not available for application.

Manhatten World is newer version, available for application. Users with both cards can use both to earn rebate, separate rebate cap and spending requirement.

Oh sorry, I got confused. I just checked sc.com/sg

MAN WORLD is the current one
MAN plat. is the old one which got phased out (rast time the rebate sill got $400 that card)

Funny, I asked for new cards, but only the MAN cc came wif paypass.

Trazora, which MAN card is better in terms of rebates?

Charged to your card every 8 days or when you accrued $15 in rides, which ever comes first.

If aggregate to $15 then post to CC, when will the transaction date be? From the SCB promo TnC:

"To qualify for the Promotion, the Eligible Cardholder must meet the minimum spend requirement of $10 (“Minimum Spend”) in his/her total “TransitLink” transactions (“Qualifying Transactions”) in a single calendar month based on transaction date on his/her Registered Card."

Probably on the date the $15 is posted, since transitlink is the one aggregating all the trips and charging as a lump sum to scb.
