Current users of mastercard tap, how do u tap your card? My EZ link has no problem when I tap with my whole wallet. But using mastercard very leh ceh, it practically needs to kiss the sensor to be detected.

I slot my Mastercard at the first card slot closest to the part of my wallet when I tap at the entrance. No issue. No need to take it out for me. Just Ensure that there are no other cards which can interfere the tapping.

Anyone else sian that they can't make it easier to see trip fares? I read this article that talks about potential ways to improve the system and I agree with it:
1) Email notification/receipt for each full day's fares, similar to how Uber/Grab show your trip fare.
2) Slide to show "Last available full day's fares" without having to log in, similar to Slide-to-Peek function in DBS/POSB Digibank apps.

If only they will implement these, then it's more convenient for users to track the fares. Then more users will be interested to continue using mah

The transactions appear in the account the next day which is good enough for me.

My last ride was last Thursday and Sunday. My fares are already showing on the ABT TransitLink website, but my credit card is not showing the charges. Is that the case for other users here?

There's no difference in detection distance, it's just that the mastercard transaction takes 2-3 times longer to get through. Which then gives you the illusion that it is not being detected, so you move the card closer and closer.

if I took a bus ride today 30 Mar 17, would the "spend" be posted instantly in the Mastercard ?

Or just like other spend, it could take a few days to be posted, thereby the ride in Mar is actually counting towards Apr spend for promo/rebates ?

If I had registered my Everyday card to use on MRT at POSB website, do I have to register separately on ABT TransitLink website?

I think the fares are consolidated and post weekly. My charges for the past week were consolidated and to be posted today. It has yet to appear on my credit card account.
