Just to share,
In case u lose your unlimited scb card , you will not lose your ABT cashback of 10 bucks for previous month as all transactions will be transferred to the new unlimited scb card number .

Heng ah...

Say only in theory by CSO.

Need to verify on statement next month.

I was using it at 6pm and after dinner around 7.30pm I took a bus with this card but when I wanted to use it at the mrt station, it stated failed card

Just Took bus with SCB Unlimited and Manhattan cards - both ok.

But could not use both on MRT. Says "Unable to Process Bank Card" !!

Was your issue resolved ?

Yet to know. They sent me a new card and I have just registered at TransitLink's website as there is a change in expiry date of the card. I can start to try it from Sunday onwards.
By the way, I called up transitlink and they checked and informed me that my card cannot work because a pre-authorised amount was rejected. Dunno what it means. She asked whether mine is a debit card coz debit cards tend to have such issue. However mine is a credit card and it still happened.

U may wanna call transitlink on weekdays to check.

Yah, reported to TransitLink on the spot. They have no idea what's wrong & say will look into it ... need 3-5 working days.

Also wrote in & got a reply :
"Thank you for your time to write in to us.
Please allow us to share that we are aware of the issue where some train/buses are not in time to update information for the Account-Based Ticketing (ABT) pilot programme.

We have highlighted to Land Transport Authority (LTA) and LTA are in the midst of seeking resolution by working with various Public Transport Operators (PTOs). Hence, you may attempt to try again on the train/buses.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and seek your understanding and patience during this period.

Have a pleasant day ahead."

Leads me to believe no one knows what's wrong ... but at least got reply.

I also have the same sentiment that neither the bank or transitlink know where the problem lies.

after 1 week they replied me and said they are STILL CHECKING.

Had the same problem, resolved via Internet Banking Secured Mail within 3 days.

So, apparently those that have completed 3 rides and deleted their numbers from Transitlink ABT website won't receive rebate automatically.

POSB uses active/registered numbers in ABT web to query 3 first rides, which I believe is incorrect method.

However I managed to get back my rebate by providing them info on which date the bank deducted my debit card (with txn code and description), which they cross checked with Transitlink data)

Lesson learned:
1) Don't remove your card info from ABT website before rebate in.
2) POSB rebate is really hard to earn. :D

Update
My Manhattan card can be used now on both MRT & Bus.
CSO called me yesterday & informed me that the previous incident was due to some "error" at the MRT entry gate which has now been fixed.
