Same here. Just got the TransitLink email.

So the latest sequence is as follows :

1. Sign up for the pilot run via your MasterCard debit/credit card's issuing bank

2. ABT Transit link will send an email to you asking you to " activate" your account.

3. TransitLink will then send to you an email asking you to go to any of the GTMs in any train station. Place your card on the reader and follow the onscreen instructions to physically activate your MasterCard.

Just got an email from transitlink

I suspect they need to see the card at a GTM to deactivate its EZlink CAN number to avoid double charging at the gate. I hope this does not break EZlink at other vendors...

At the top up machine if I'm not wrong, you are able to default whichever payment you preferred

Does 'deactivation' mean that Ezlink function can't be used at all or only at bus/MRT.

If at all - the what's the point of such 'innovation'?

Just tried using UOB Privi MC - just keep seeing bank card usage when you tap. Dunno how much you are charged also. Think will go back to using Ezlink

I will definitely go back. Just want to make use of the promos.

Honestly this system isn't ready to see daylight

Well it worked for my POSB Mastercard debit, but didn't show the journey cost, just "Bank card usage"

Signed up via UOB website but received nothing to date. Have to manually do it via Transitlink's page instead.

Guys, for the DBS everyd card, only the 1st 3 SMRT rides are free right?
After that I should move on to the Maybank or the cimb cc?

Yes. Need 3 days to process, so do it asap. Also think can only add 3 cards.

From now till 19 September 2017, get a bonus 10%^ cash credit (up to S$8 per month) on your daily commute when you tap & go with CIMB Mastercard.

sauce
http://www.cimbbank.com.sg/en/perso...in-rides-10percent-cash-credit-promotion.html

T&C states $80 min spending
meaning
if from 20 mar to 19 April- travel expenses(by bus or mrt) cannot hit $80 (eg $79.99) - means no 10%?
and die die must hit $80 ($8 max rebate) as any amount greater than $80 means no rebate hor?

Or $80 min spending on cc on anything?
