I activated both Visa(joined the pilot) and MasterCard today. Can use 5 days from now, after tap at GTM.

Will use GPay from here on. Batteries don't fail me!

I can't use Google Pay to tap in via my MasterCard leh.

You did not join the pilot for mobile payment for ABT right? If so of course cannot. Have to wait till launch of simplygo on 3 Apr

I joined on another G Pay enabled droid. That one can't use for public transport too. The experience isn't that good lol

My visa and mastercard have been approved for use on public buses and train.
However, I think it is not feasible cos I have to take out my credit card each time I wanna travel so I am scared I may lose it.

I would rather use my mobile phone instead as I hold it in my hand most of the time.

So I think the trial with credit card as a form of payment will flop but the one using Google pay (ie use phone to tap in and out) will be successful.

I am sure others also will like.
It is so inconvenient to use credit card as ABT cos need to take out from wallet and must remember to put it back into the wallet otherwise later can't find the card and worst of all lost!

Why dbs visa debit?

Clock the minimum $400 spending for the 5% cashback for eligible VISA PayWave transactions lo haha

Ya mobile payments would make it easier for me too, but I purposely put all the cards in the manner that typically won't trigger the error of having multiple cards tapped at the same time.

did u receive invitation to use Visa, particularly DBS Visa Debit card for ABT?

If no, the SimplyGo launch on 4 April will only allow Mastercards on Contactless Apps.

It does not open up to Visa cards on Contactless Apps unless invitation is sent to you.

Did not receive any invitation but have successfully linked UOB One card in SimplyGO
there was a note saying only proceed if you have received invitation though

Tapped card last week on bus and the visa card worked just like the other mastercards, you could give it a try

Tap visa card no problem. Invitation needed for tap visa card on google/samsumg/apple pay
