We got from Metro Century Square in Tampines. There was some sort of promotion on at that time. Can't remember exactly it's Dunlopillo's promotion or Metro's promotion. =:p

Fella, how much was the mattress without topping up? Keen to get one.

Any feedback, esp bad ones to share?

You mean that after using for sometime, it sagged? And the store allowed you to top up to trade up to an omazz mattress? Wow, that's really good service!! Where did you get the mattress from? Park Mall?

I didn't know they have lotus & omazz at Robinsons. I could have save many trips running around trying at different stores. I was quite impressed with all the features from Lotus, the fabric especially. But in the end, I can't get used to the floaty feeling when I lie on it.

So I bought Simmons Lakeview, which I like very much too. Everytime I tried it at the showrooms, I feel like sleeping already. Ha ha...

now it's time to whack a high threadcount linen and good pillow. Either one makes a big difference.

i believe most decent mattress would offer adequate support. just different feel.

3-in-One mattress

hi all

need some advice on this mattress i saw in an outlet in Bedok. the salesman offered me a mattress (queen) from royal dutch (anyone heard of this brand / model???) @ $1899.00

its supposed to be this 3-in-1 mattress which combines the pocket-spring tech, memory foam and something else (which i forgot).

i tried it and it felt really comfy, could sink into the bed yet there is adequate support. anyone heard of this kind of mattress?

Mattresses hardly spoil. If you find it comfortable and within your means to afford it, why not? You don't need a well-known brand name. One particular brand I quite like is Odeopedic - very plush and well made, about $1800.

My King Koil has a hole at the bottom. I'm sleeping on a single and i'm 75kg. The mattress has been with me for 10+ years.

Any recommendations? I dont want to spend more than $400. I'm looking at King Koil, Seahorse, Slumberland and Sleeptonic.

Few weeks ago, just had bad experience with SeaHorse delivery service. Schedule 7pm-10pm, then they call to deliver at 11pm, but arrived at 12 mid-night. :(

no point getting those big brand, you're paying at least double compared to other decent brands.

Hotel use so what? they bought it at half the price you're paying you know? Moral of the story? You're financing the hotels in getting good quality mattresses :D

My recommendation:
Foam: Try seahorse or maxcoil but for memory foam, maxcoil is 90% density, tempur is 95%, so see if you need that extra 5% by paying more than double the price....
Spring base: Try Slumberland or its OEM brands, or Dunopillo kind of brand.
