Why amk is cheaper? Just becuz of erp zone?

If you consider proximity to the city, KW BTO wins hands down...for those who work in the CBD, I don't think any of the other BTOs can offer the same amount of convenience.

OK maybe Queenstown BTO in November comes close...but it is right in between Dover and Buona Vista MRT. At least 600-700m walk to either MRT...and we don't even know what the prices will be like. I expect it to be somewhat similar to KW BTO in May (remember the S$1 mil flat transacted in Queenstown recently).

I feel the tpy bto is comparable with KW with the mrts, amenitites and good schs around

i think so... at least for May Kallang/Whampoa BTO, both MT and BL are located near to the MRT... for the Nov BTO Toa Payoh and SengKang... if you got lousy queue number then you might have to select the site which is located far away from the MRT, i think the government very clever... they know those far from MRT confirm people don like... so they come up with 2 sites in a location together, and force those with lousy queue numbers to choose the lousy site... since if reject 2 times will lose the first timer priority, then those reject before will lan lan suck thumb have to select the lousy site...

now everyone so excited about the Nov BTO...thinking they sure get nice queue number... but i believe confirm oversubscribe one... i got a queue number within the allocated number of units but i still cannot get the one that i desired the most...haha... so better don pin too much hopes on getting the best unit...

i heard many people apply for bto and always unlucky get lousy queue numbers... but if got 500 units and total got 3000 people apply... you think will so lucky get good queue numbers?

i actually did not wan to apply for the May KW 3 room bto one... but i waited until the last hour of the application and i saw that the number of application for 1st timer is almost the same as the number of units, then i decided to apply, at least try to maximise the odds of being able to select a flat...

same here is saw the ratio is 1.1 so i entered with near parents scheme to increase my chance. Also my fs master fren said i cfm get if apply for may bto.

So i enter and rest is history.

But last min also appln shot up to 1.9 from 1.1. anyway 1st timer for KW 3 rooms almost all got their flat.

Don't think you can apply. Even last time you could only apply if you cancel your existing selected one. But now if you cancel your selected one you are barred for 1 year.

If you have already paid the $2k option fee and decide to give up your KW, you will be barred for a year, hence cannot apply any BTO wor

Suppose to select this Sun. However if I were to reject this opportunity, I understand from HDB website that in 1 year I can reject 2 times. This 1 year period starts from when? Also what happens on the 3rd time I want to ballot? Am I considered a first timer with only 1 chance

You will never be satisfied. There will always be good sites with relatively good prices this year, next year, next next year etc.
Evryone wants the BEST deal. Realistically no one can ever have the BEST deal. You can only choose the BEST option at that point in time.

In MAY, KW was a attractive BTO. You chose it. You have it. Think of the many thousands did not get it.
Even if you can give up and apply for AMK, do you want to go through all these process of waiting for queue no., chance of misssing it and waiting for next BTO again??

I do not want to go through this ordeal again. been there done it! Life moves on.
