Those who apply KW, mostly which clusters you prefer?
Hey, my Q no is 340+ too! *highfives* we might have the same appt date! I don't mind either precinct - just aiming to get mid floors at least. Which precinct are u looking at?

Is there alrdy an FB page for the KW BTO?

I got 829/888 for Kallang Whampoa. Think can get to select?

Also, his race is others. Mine is chinese. So considered others or chinese?

Definitely can select - as ur Q no doesn't exceed the available units. However here's where the ethnic quota comes into play. I might be wrong but Maybe you might have better chances of securing a unit under Others.

We have conducted the computer ballot and we regret to inform that you are unsuccessful in your application. Nevertheless, if you are a first-timer applicant, this attempt will be taken into account in our assessment to accord additional chance to you when you submit another application in the future for a flat in a non-mature estate under the Build-To-Order (BTO) exercise

Anyone know when/where I can view the prices for different units? I know usually they will release it after the ballot result. Thanks!

I am torn between between MC and BL as well. The general location for both is good. BL is smack in between 2 mrts (one future line), but it is just beside a heavily used road, that area is known for nightlife, so I scare the noise level at night also very high.

MC on the other hand is quieter and peaceful, been there to check, but my gf and I don't like the canal there :s13: Most likely getting the BL one.

Am living along Jalan Besar road smack in the middle of Farrer Park and Lavender MRT.

BL is not just smack between 2 mrts.

It is 3 mrt lines all within walking distance (10 mins)

NEL - Farrer Park (City Square Mall, GV) and Boon Keng MRT (Market)
EW - Lavender (Faster access to Bugis-Raffles Place)
DTL - Bencoolen

Major bus services to most parts of the island just at the main road infront.

24 hours food readily available across the road at Lavender food center.

But my queue no. 969, hope can make it into one of the unit :(

you say like that, BL looks even more attractive to me, the thing to consider or overcome is noise level, at night cannot sleep :s13:

noise from where ah? curious

The noise level from the 2 busy roads that lead to the traffic junction.

Noise level also comes from the night life since there are pubs, jalan besar stadium, 24-hours coffee shop etc.

bendemeer light should have high resale value due to mrt location. and facing city means should be able to see fireworks and singapore flyer. anyway the nightspots are along jalan besar road, not concentrated at bendemeer light, noise will be minimal if any.

mcnair towers already priced high, resale value not be as high. further more hdb oversupply kicking in soon. the prices now are locked in until 2017. by that time maybe this kind of price can buy freehold condo in ulu place already.

my fiancee and i got a decent queue number, but may want to wait for property prices to lower. hdb is shifting the entire burden of risk to buyers without comensurate return. it goes against everything we learnt in finance about investments. 30 year loan at $2.5k per month is no joke.

Wanna check with those experienced flat owners.

Any idea what does the white line in the image mean?

What we learnt in finance and what happen in actual world are different If they can, they will mask and dump all the risk on unknowing parties. HDB will also tell you, public housing is for residence not for investment, get one within your means, no risk involve blah blah blah
