I am just curious.. how come seems like more people are getting the UOB account, rather than MB SaveUp account? Isn’t the interest rate payout better for MB SaveUp, compared to others like UOB one account or DBS Multigain?

Depends how comfortable a person to meet the requirements. Maybank SU needs 3 categories to get highest rate. UOB needs 2 categories and usually is 2nd account when people can't meet salary credit will save there. Multiplier is simpler, lower chance of not meet the requirements.

Is it worth while to switch out of UOB to Citi MaxiGain?

If the billing organisation is DBS cc, can I set it up online? I checked DBS website, it seems to talk about paying GIRO using DBS as source account.

https://www.dbs.com.sg/personal/support/bank-payment-setup-giro-arrangement.html

Hey guys sorry to bring up an old post. I have a similar problem to stamploversg in setting up the GIRO arrangement. It seems like it can't be done using DBS internet banking because the debiting account will be DBS.

Do we have to fill up the giro form then? Can't find the form on DBS' website but found some random form from Google. Guess better use the ABS form provided by Trazora to be on the safe side. Just wanted to confirm that this application can't be done via internet banking because the applying via the form will surely take a long time to process and I will miss the bonus interest for Feb. TIA!

Is the interest credit based on average daily amount for the previous month only or based on that for the previous month plus the 10+ days into current month before the interest credit?

Interest count daily based on last account balance of the day
