Just wrote a piece on the revision. I guess there is really no point hanging on to the account after 1 April, unless you have existing loan/insurance arrangement.

True to that. Already changed my salary credit to ocbc for next month. Once the bonus interest is in will close my maybank account and move funds.

Already discussed in this thread. Note also salary crediting and giro no longer counted as 2 categories. Very tough to meet 3 criteria. Also no point to go for priviledge save up. Time to switch out.

I am switching out as well. The 3% was good while it lasted. Time to look for alternative, most likely top up to Citibank Maxigain. Will also be totally closing the SaveUp Acc, my usual practice to "protest" policy changes.

Car loan is consider an item under saveup program, and along with salary crediting and giro, I hit the 3 items and get 3% a month.

Yeah I will redeem the car loan after 31 Mar 2020 is up. They still allow us to use existing loan for another 1 year.
