@plaingrain Zhui kway can eat or not???

how about carrot cake?
I never "jiu zhua" ie I didn't vow to go vegetarian, so if I really cannot take it I eat zhui kway and carrot cake also. I'm just trying to be a good son, because when my elders eat vegetarian, it's very troublesome for them to cook vegetarian for themselves then meat dishes for me, so whatever they eat, I also eat loh. If I am alone or outside by myself, I don't force myself to eat vegetarian. I'm not so hardcore like one of my uncles who is from 一贯道, for some religions like 一贯道 they are adamant that they followers must eat vegetarian. I try not to be so fixated.

My favourite veg restaurant is Whole Earth. Kinda expensive though but at least the standard is there. Even the non vegetarians will like it

Also the ippudo plant based ramen is actually quite good

There are many different types of mushrooms, beans ( green, black, red etc), roots, stems ( lotus, sweet potatoes, potatoes, yam etc).

I didn't stay for the prayer, just managed to pop by KMSPKS and paid my respects to Buddha before going to tabao vegetarian bee hoon home for my family.

Also managed to eat my favourite noodle soup.

Surprise that today's crowd is smaller. The usual is 3 times of today's crowd. May be many go overseas due to long weekends.

Tomorrow is lunar 27th, Kong Meng San Monastery used to have Great Compassion Repentance on every lunar 27th, follow by free vegetarian lunch. Hardly falls on Sat or Sun. Used to see big crowd on lunar 27th.

I saw online that Buddha Tooth Relic Temple basement vegetarian food court sells pizza? The large portion is $10 per pizza. Is it worth it?

Their food generally normal, acceptable, not fantastic. It is the ambience there very nice. Very cold Aircon blasting plus lots of space and variety of food. It is very nice to chillax early morning when not so crowded.

Food wise across the street at temple street Yi xin is better but no Aircon.
