finally got my zhuque. got a shock when i carried it.

swapped the alphabet keys with cherry browns. numbers, ctrl, alt, del and arrows are gateron blue. the rest is the default red.

the default red does feels mushy as zephyr has mentioned

why got a shock?

Cool. Other than the zhuque do you know any similar TKL keyboards that allows for replacing of switches?

:s12:

I honestly have not seen anyone do a hot swappable kb besides Zhuque, but my knowledge of mech kb quite limited.

not much I can complain about the Zhuque though, cept for the LED and the cable.

would be great if it was RGB, but I most probably won't on it, and for the cable, would have been great if it was changeable, or at least black. white cable looks odd, at least to me.

why buy from massdrop? cheaper than amazon?

are they trustworthy?
Cheaper cause they offer the barebones version (without keycaps). My experience with Massdrop has been quite decent so far, good customer service, fast refunds.

i got mine a couple of weeks ago, from the first drop. haven't even open to check yet. still looking for a set of keycaps for it.

although technically i could use my current ones, but you know the "new kb must use new kepcaps" feeling?

:s22::s22:

i saw some nice ones, but sibeh ex, a lot of big bills coming, so kiv first.

Nice, try it and let me know haha. Can la, keyboard already $200+, worth spending a little more for the keycaps. I think I might be selling my Pok3r to fund my next purchase haha, or maybe slow down a little, spread out my expenses so I don't feel as guilty. :s13:

Plenty of cheap decent keycaps for on Taobao! I've always wanted the Taihao Bumble bee set, but don't have a black keyboard to match it with, maybe I'll get that for my future Novatouch. :s13:

I agree! but there's so many options that make it a freakin headache. I got a set of Miami keycaps, but they came slightly closer to baby blue and baby pink, everything else was great. I guess yellow and black should be slightly harder to get wrong.

best to stick with simple ones from taobao, but can't say I'm confident it will come as "described". unless it's taiho or something, but those are in OEM profile. so it's a bit of a problem.

Anyone on corsair mechanical keyboards? Picked up a K65 LUX RGB and am blown away by it. The build quality, feel, and lighting is amazing...im thinking of trying out custom keycaps but as i understand, the corsair keys are not standard size..anyone know where i can get custom keycaps for corsair keyboards like mine?

Out of all the non-standard bottom rows, Corsair is probably the hardest to find keycaps for. Your biggest problem is the 6.50u spacebar, most sets that include non-standards only come with 6.00u and 7.00u spacebars. The only place I know that offers Corsair's bottom row is Max keyboards, can take a look there.

http://www.maxkeyboard.com/products/cherry-mx-keycap/ansi-layout-keycap-set/

Edit: seems like they only offer that option in their ABS sets.

Edit2: if you'd like more variety, can get Geekkey caps and order the 6.50u spacebar separately from Max keyboard. Geekkey sets include non-standard bottom row modifiers that fit corsair, minus the spacebar.
