Flyme 4.5.1A available for MX4 Pro

http://meizufans.eu/flyme-4-5-1a-available-for-mx4-pro/

As of today, Flyme 4.5.1A is available for the MX4 Pro, featuring Android 5.0.1. Yet the changelog is not that big, however we hope that this will change soon. Also with this release Meizu sticks to its timeplan. Only the MX4 release will be a bit later when promised, most likely due to optimization works in the background.

However, users who do not want to use the new test firmware also have a reason to cheer!

Flyme 4.2.8.2 got released for the MX2, MX3, MX4 and MX4 Pro introducing a huge changelog which is patching several bugs which appeared in previous test and stable firmwares. Most likely this could be the last release of Flyme 4.2.x or in general Android 4.4.x. If everything runs well an Android 5 based released of Flyme for the MX4 and previous devices can be expected within May. Only m1 note users have to be patient until June, but therefor it can be said that it doesn’t seems unrealistical to expect a sooner release.

have to agree with battery life, kind of disappointed coz i thought it would last longer.. audio quality using the 3.5mm jack, i think my ears not gold enough to hear the difference :( audio quality was one of the things i looked out for

battery life, really depends how you use the phone & settings you use
ie, do you set your display @100% ? or at Performance Settings (vs Balanced), do you play graphics intensive games for 1hour or just the normal whatsapp / web surfing

my experience is OK", ie can last me from morning 7am till 9pm (till have 20%)
Screen brightness at 80%, and at Balanced Setting. NO games, lunch time Internet Radio Streaming

Audio, again, depends on the audio file / Internet streaming - headphone (BT or Wired, etc)
Meizu build in Audio DAC, other audio chip etc and their past history in MP3 were actually one the key factors that I consider during my purchase decision, least for the devices that I have / owned, i think MX4 Pro audio is the best liao

tried taking night shots these few nights, but can't activate it after upgrading to 4.2.8.2. Anyone can use the night shot feature or get it to kick in on this firmware?

Yes, 联通版 is the correct version as 联通 uses the same 4G spectrum as Singapore.

I'm not so sure about the other qns as I dont have this phone!
Cheers!
