Is it suitable for wearing to office on a cold day?

yes it's ok for wearing to the office but it's not meant to replace a suit in a formal occasion

:p

The vest u talking abt is quite ok lor. But then imagine if half way thru the day the weather gets hot, then u have to remove le.
It can look quite nice. :)

Personally, i am too lazy for that. So i only throw a normal mono-color wind breaker in office. The design reminds me of those MP wearing in parliament.

White Shirt. No strips. Just plain White. or a white T-shirt and then you wear your vest over.

Never buy black plain vest. very weird no matter which you pair it.

Pink Vest, Yellow Vest, Dark Navy Blue Vest, Grey Vest, White Vest, these colours you wouldn't go wrong.

And these vest since they are buttonless, so make sure they are tight fit and not loose fit. Loose fit vest is very very unpresentable

I have Alain Delon, Emilio Valentino shirts, but seriously I still prefer wearing G2000 shirts. Even Raoul ones I don't quite like. Its more of cutting and cloth material. I mean if you wear whichever and you feel very comfy, then thats the one for you. I don't feel comfy in AD or Valentino ones, so I don't wear.

G2000, not all shirts I buy. I will buy only the contemporary wrinkle free and not the normal wrinkle free.

SiaoAhBeng, u got your ans here. :)

Just like posted, it will look great with white shirt. Actually white shirt is the best and must have item all men must have.
It will look great in working pants and even jeans, if its nicely pressed and cutting is just nice for u. :)

And yes abt the size and colors of the vest. I seen my director wore a red vest over white long sleeve shirt and jeans. FYI, he is in his late 50s but he looks amazing in that!:D

Try to be more daring with the colors of the vest, coz your shirt itself is already quite bland...
But try not to have strong colors for both shirt and vest...

As for long pants, most guys usually start off with brands like G2000. Unless u are smaller than sz28, then u will need to go tailor. Like me... :(

Is your director a creative director in an ad firm? If yes, I think he will carry that red vest very well.

It's not easy to get a nice vest in SG> if there is any vest that is good looking, try one which is V-neck rather than round neck. V-neck accentuates the figure of the men making the face look more chiselled and nice.

Yup yup yup I agree about the V-neck part. Very true. But no offence ah, obese people shouldn't try V-neck, opt for something else.

No, he is a teaching prof.:D

Thats why i really admire him for his age he is daring to try that. Actually he looks very much younger than his actual age of late 50s. He even spike up his hair with wax everyday! whahhaa

erm

well..to share with u guys my trip to malaysia i realise that CYC is no longer doing all their workmanship as in suits blazer stuff... is being outsource to another firm to do on their behalf and sew their brand.. this company is wardrobe.. its a big company in malaysia doing tailoring and ready make guys clothes.. www.wardrobe.com.my/ too bad site under construction. So if u guys go to CYC and make.. maybe it might be a cheaper alternative to go malaysia n make form wardrobe. If not wrong from sources is done by them as well.. I felt so cheated when i knew it cos i pay so much and yet things are not done by them.... disappointed seriously

got one @ 40% off.

any1 is a G2000 member here?

u can only be a mamber when u chalked up $250 btw mid feb-mar...why so weird??

During that period, there is no sale at all. Therefore, its to entice people to buy at regular price to get the membership.

got my shirt ler! sorry lazy take pics now :o
will do it after washing and ironing..

fits well, not baggy, kinda perfect fitting. sleeves are just right. cuff can fit watch too cuz i told him to measure together with my watch.

collar is abit stiff cuz i requested for harder collar.. but still it's good!

but the shirt material feels really soft and crumples easily.. 2ply cotton...

overall experience, design and quality: 8/10 stars!~:D
gotch pigs now anotch???
