I'm back to gold watches with leather straps now...plus basically soviet eta watches so watches of that era are usually thin 18mm straps with smaller faces.

Same preference here, djchris :)

I like the vintage Bulova watches. Especially the rectangular dial ones with rosewood colored leather straps. I can never carry off heavy metal strapped Seiko watches.

Where did you get your vintage watch from?

Rotating time bezel
Glowing numbers
Digital

OUT

hmm... IMO Velcro and digital watches don't really go with office wear
I actually like leather straps and don't like digital watches
I prefer more "classy" looking watches rather than "trendy and hip"

Got it off a 2nd hand store at golden landmark. Ebay has more variety, which I am looking at right now.

For the price of a rolex, I may prefer to get a Grand Seiko if I can afford it. More subtle with less bling, and people who know their watches will know your status.

Bought it at 90, spent another 90 to service it. Quite ok for a piece of history.

And also, most off-the-shelf shirts usually don't cater to big watches.

worth the $$ dude ! haha..big watch cannot hide under the sleeves... show it ! =:p

To each his own, wat brand is good, what style is nice...its a subjective matter and really a personal choice. Just wear it with good health and enjoy every moment of it. :s8:

any interesting new designs for shirts to bag??? :D

for pants, not sure whether to tailor or not. Any particular good tailor for pants? Coz I have a rather short torso, try to tailor a set of pants that low waist, slim fit.

Massimo Dutti is the higher end of Zara...all under the Royal Sporting House Group iirc...

The shirts are ok, just that still need to alter the sleeves for me.
