haha it is actually quite true. try wearing a pair of g2000 pants and look at yourself from the side in the mirror. you can see quite a visible bulge. i didnt actually recognize such a problem until my mom pointed this out recently when my brother bought new pants from g2000.

i was lucky to have bought good quality pants so far. both my mom and i agree it has more to do with the thickness/quality of the pants. the thicker cloth materials will not display a bulge as vividly.

sounds good. maybe it'll impress our female colleagues!? :s34:

thks for ur reply. appreciate it.

few days ago, i walked past G2000 and saw their shirts selling 2 for 49 bucks. are those worth buying?

If you like to change your wardrobe every 2-3 months... it's ok to buy the G2000 series. 2 for $49 or 2 for $59 is worth it. Only setback is the thin material and fading of colour very quickly...

Gather a few friends or colleagues to buy G2000 products at 1 goal. Get the membership card... like that even more worth it. If someone has a Citibank card, more savings.

do pardon me clock, but if the person can afford to change his wardrobe every 2-3 months, wont he be able to afford a shirt of much better quality the first time up? not only will the shirt be more comfortable, last longer but it will also likely look nicer.

you do make a good point in your 2nd paragraph about getting a few friends to buy g2000 products at one go to get the membership card.

I'm looking for good fitting office pants or slacks. I don't like the G2K ones.

I'm quite slim. What should I be looking at?

Made-to-measure? I think it could be a good option to explore. There is a "tailoring" thread on this forum which you can read about the experiences of other forummers.

G2k plain colour 100% cotton shirts are not bad, but I will advise to avoid their stripe shirts as the workmmanship is poor.

Avoid their cotton+polyster shirts as it can feel quite "plastic" to the skin.

if you get good quality cotton shirts the 'qi mao' effect will be much delayed and not as obvious. even for 100% cotton shirts, there are still a lot of variations, from the sub quality cotton to the high end egyptian cotton.

g2000's cotton+polyester shirts are passable but i wont pay $59 for them. thats the key. they feel alright to the skin in general but why pay so much when you can get something more comfortable that looks better at a lower price?

lonestar86- you seem pretty set on getting g2000 stuff. with your citibank discount, you can give g2000 a try. 1 set first.

seems like gonna do research before buying 100% cotton shirts.

there's 2 for 49 shirts. so are they the same as the cotton+polyester shirts which you've mentioned?

yes, i've set on G2000 cus i can get discount with my citibank card.

hmm the material is slightly worse off. depending on your budget, id suggest you get the $59 shirts. the designs are better and they are 'softer' than the 2 for $49s.

G2000 black label series go for how much a piece? Does it wrinkle/crumple easily especially the area around the elbow? Coz my G2000 shirts the cheaper ones wrinkle quite easy.
