Not too sure where has it now... the last time i went was at Anchorpoint. Absolutely love their white cufflink shirt, superb material and doesn't get crumble easily.

But from now, probably gonna get tailor shirts at grandcity for $50 per piece...

ur post suggest that G2000 clothing are made from low quality material. :(
the reason why i'm eying on G2000 cus their products are kinda more affordable and i've citibank card.

so u wouldn't recommend G2000?

I would still recommend G2000 clothing. They're affordable. When I started working and even till now, I am still buying their products and I had a lot of G2000 shirts and pants.

The problem I had is the contemporary series. It is really as it's name, temporary.
Some of the colours really fade fast but 2 for $59, it's cheap!

Like I had said, you could change your wardrobe every 3-4 months by adding new colours and patterns. The more expensive and better quality line is the Black Label series. You can get them from their Black Label shops. There is 1 in Ngee Ann City which is the old G2000 boutique on B1. The shop in B2 is more affordable and trendy clothing.

Some of the g2k pants are the pants from a suit. They are sold separately in a sale. They are wool-blend pants and therefore much better, but also more expensive.

A shirt without pockets will always look more formal. In fact, you will find most English and French brand shirts to be without pockets.

I suggest that you don't go for pockets if you don't actually use it. In fact, I find it not too cool to carry things in your front pocket. Just my personal views.

Some of the Ferragamo shirts, and event Esprit have no breast pocket.

Got once, I forgot no pocket - I tried to keep my phone and it fell to the floor.

Why are you putting your phone into your shirt pocket? :s22:

The black label closed down in Singapore due to a lack of demand. The Wing Tai exec told me that people were always asking why no 2 for $49 promo.

Most don't care about fabric type, they just want their $25 shirt and pants because they already associate G2K with cheap, putting a black label in front of a cheap brand is like using high quality make-up on a pig.

It's a big pity. So disappointed when I found that the Black Label series was discontinued. The fabric and cutting was excellent. I would rather pay that $60 - 70 for it over Zara and Topman shirts that cost similar.

Will have to do my Black Label shopping in HK.

That's great that there is still one Black Label shop left. Will go down and take a look and see if there's anything I like.

so in term of material , it is better to get those wool blend pants?

and also what type of leather shoes u all normally buy? ALDO / PEDRO?

of course buy the wool-blend ones rather than the polyester ones. They breathe better and do not look cheap.

My leather shoes are from Tangs. Made in Italy with nice designs. Go tangs when when there is sale.

2nd this post.
But I couldn't find them in HK as well. Maybe I didn't search hard enough.

I still love the 1 piece I bought from them over my Raoul or TM Lewin and it's the cheapest!
