Preamble: I have an oily facial complexion which puts me at discomforts when there is a lot of oil build up on my face ( especially the forehead and nose ['T' Region] ). These two products were recommended to me on this forum and hence, I put myself through a week of each product to see the results.

Hada Labo's SHA Hydra Light Lotion

Hada Labo's 'Light' Lotion is the lighter version of their Hydra Lotion. My results were;

- Skin had a 'dry feeling' which I felt was the result of it evaporating from the skin

- Lacked hydrating feel when applied and left on face over 6 hours

- Oil build up was less but still evident when I used a white piece of paper to scratch the surface of the nose to see the yellowish oil for results.

Results: 2.5/5
I guess in this humid environment of Singapore, hydration is the last thing any of us need for our skin. Since it is already humid enough.

+Rehab London MEN'S NO SHINE!

- Skin had a more natural feeling

- NO SHINE on face at all!

- Oil build up was very minimal! When I performed the White Paper test, very little colour of oil was presented on the paper.

- It felt very balanced when I touched my face, it gave me a mixture of oil and water feeling and best of all, it didn't cause me discomfort.

Results: 4/5
I don't know much about +Rehab London. Their product does what it says though. There really was NO SHINE on my face.

Did it make your skin more oily? Or more concentrated with water and oil?

I don't feel oily with it on. I feel a more balance mixture of oil and water on my face. Which I feel is very balanced and most importantly, comfortable.

More oily. I'm sure it does its moisturising job but just didn't get the no shine effect on me.
No worries, there's no one product that suits everyone. Wanted to try it out as well

I just bought Glycolic acid to try and help with my scarring. Not sure if it'll help but just give it a shot first.

Just bought a range of stuff from iherb. Last time never take care. Now face all scarred. Have to try and salvage.

Mini review.

I have been using Biotherm T-Pur to control my oily face for quite long and recently tried Lab Series Oil Control Daily Hydrator and +Rehab Men's no shine....

Biotherm, after applying it, face will become smooth with no sticky feeling. My face will get slight oily after half a day, 1 oil clear sheet to clear the oil.

Lab Series, after applying it, face will become smooth with no sticky feeling. Half a day, face becomes oily and need about 2-4 oil clear sheets.

+Rehab, after applying it, face is sticky. Half a day, face becomes oily and sticky. Using oil clear sheets, u can feel the sticky oil, like using tape over your face.

I will go back to Biotherm, although it is expensive but it does its work better.


Anyone wants to buy my Rehab?? Used once....

where u got the rehab from? whats the prices for these items?
i always use tissues to clear the oil. hearsay oil sheets are too drying?

Have to try it out...

Rather nice of them to let me have one to try - must be because I have been going to Gangnam Laser Clinic for some time..

Just bought Rehab London No Shine off zhaohan and used it today for the first time. Applied at 11am before I left house and at the end of the day, my face is so much less oily. My T-zone has always been the problematic area, always super shiny at the end of the day. But today when I reached home, I was pleasantly surprised. Nose not even shiny, there was a shine on my forehead that I usually get 2 hours after coming out of the shower.

Overall: super satisfied with this product. May try other products next time but for now, Rehab London is my choice.

you just gotta try for yourself to see whether worth the money
Sometimes expensive stuff has good results. This why I use my products from Gangnam Laser Clinic together with SKII

Creme de la mer is waayy too ex for a simple dryness problem
Try out some drugstore first before moving to mid or high end stuff.

Tried it out and its really good. They told me that they still have invitations to use for friends etc but since I don't have so many friends who wanna try it, you guys can try your luck.

Which brand is good? Normally bb cream are made for Korean guys which have fairer skin color whereas I have slightly darker skin color so hard to find 1 that blend in with my skin color..

Currently using missha bb cream but skin get oily/shinny after 1 wholeday..

I have been using menscience for years. Keeps my skin smooth and pimples free. I get complimented on my skin alot. Some women even say my skin is better than theirs. You guys can try the cleanser. If u order online from overseas, it's cheaper. Or you can try Qoo10 or Strawberrynet. It's cheaper than shop retail.

I use Clarins BB cream. It doesn't get sticky or clog my pores compared to other brands. It gives a more matte look.
Only thing is it's quite pricey.. so I only stock up during sales

Anybody can recommend me a good and lasting soap that doesn't melt? I'm finishing up my Cella and looking to try others. Funny thing about Cella is that first year of usage only 1/5 gone, thought can last for another year. Then I think due to water from brush the soap started to "melt" and became watery like porridge. After that within 6 months the remaining 4/5 gone.
