Need advice.

I started to use Kiehl's white clay set (cleanser + toner + moisturiser) for my oily skin as some member in this thread recommended Kiehl's. It has been quite effective to me, say apply on 8am and start to observe slight shine (at comfortable level) around 4pm. My toner was almost finished two weeks back, and I decided to try Biotherm since few posts here recommended it too :). The lady over the counter recommended me Aquapower Essence and told me that it has the function of essence + toner. Wow, good news for lazy people like me, 1 step for 2 effects (even though I don't exactly know what essence is for). At the end I bought Aquapower box set that includes cleanser apart from the essence because I have not much cleanser left.

So... I opened the box last week and realise that it also contains three more products of travel size: UV protection cream, moisturiser, and lotion. Here's my doubt, in the same Aquapower series there's already moisturiser and essence+toner, what's the lotion for?

Any clue? Thanks.

Essence is something you use to target a certain concern, like the SK-II treatment essence. Toner+essence is kind of like a toner that does something else apart from exfoliate/tighten pores.

Lotion is kind of like a light version of moisturiser is Japanese terms, and a toner in Korean terms.. So the biotherm one is most likely a lightwieght moisturiser.

Thanks for the explanation. Kind of troublesome... essence -> lightweight moisturiser -> moisturiser... looks like I need to take the same amount of time ladies spend on facial :s13:

@desmond91
In my case, a good cleanser alone is not enough, and toner does help a lot. Applying moisturiser after toner helps further but not as obvious as with toner vs without toner. Just my personal experience base on Kielh's white clay series, other people may have different experience though. I tried Nivea for Men oil control toner few years back, it was pretty good too (and more affordable, less than $20 =:p), but I can't find this product nowadays.

Hello, I'm also having oily skin problems, I usually hope to keep my facial regime as simple as possible.

Morning:
1. Gentle cleanser
2. Moisturize (I use Biotherm Homme oil control mattifying moisturizer, it's the T-pur series, can check it out)
3. Pauplex over affected area (this is prescribed by doctor as I have existing acne condition)

Normally this is done by 7am, usually my skin will become oily but not very shiny, just slight shine around 3-4pm.

Night:
1. Cleanse
2. Moisturize (same pdt)
3. Topical cream (clindoxyl 1% + BPeroxide 5%, prescribed by doctor too due to existing acne condition)

Now, I don't have crazy breakouts already, it's very much under control I would say to the extent of 1 pimple per week, so now I'm pretty much going through the recovery phase because there's leftover redness on the cheeks.

But I must warn you first that this is not a sure work method, like many others have said that different products work on different people.

I have tried rehab london no shine moisturizer before and of course found that Biotherm homme works much better. I'm going to try the clinique for men moisturizer for oily skin and maybe will try khiel's in due time.

Hope my post helps! :)

You can try jorubi aloe Vera gel..you can apply it all over your face like a facial moisturiser after washing your face.It absorbs very fast onto face and is non sticky plus it helps to curb oil without causing breakouts..you can google this product online. It is inexpensive (below $20) and works well even for the most sensitive skin.My face is oily as well :)

Any good recommendation for clinic that does cosmetic surgery.
Need to remove a 5 cent size skin bump that never went away for years.

Thanks

Botox

I did Botox at Gangnam laser clinic a few weeks ago. Face slim down nicely.
