I made payment via vbox.com.sg and was awarded 10X for Singtel bill payment.

I checked the list of merchants, can't find M1. Anyway to pay for M1 bill and earn good mileage? I'm currently using my Citibank PM card for M1 bills at the moment.

Let's start a new list for UOB PP Visa 10x UNI$ for online purchases.

+EZ-Link Top & Tap
+McDonalds Online

I agree, it would be useful to add the UOB PPV to the list as it is the "hottest" card around right now (albeit due to its other main benefit - 10xUNI$ for Paywave payments).

Unfortunately it's also kind of dodgy with the online side which is supposed to give same amount of miles as for Paywave with a few exceptions like travel. So adding a proper list for this card would be very helpful.

Was a "verified by Visa" code required for this transaction?

I can't actually remember, but DBS mentioned it was not eligible based on merchant code and they can't do anything about it.

Guess I can't use the app to make the booking from now on.

Qoo10 considered selling clothes/shoes as main activity? Maybe they will say its main activity is selling handphones accessories. :s13:

I hate citibank, very anal bank.

Would like to share this from Citibank..

Recently dined at Grub at Bishan Park and used my Citi dividend card for dining cost of more than $50. Just saw today online i got only 0.5% cash back instead of 2% for dining.

So, I called up Citi and asked why even though I am aware that its due to the merchant classification at the point when they installed the CC terminal at the establishment. So, as expected the CSO told me the same thing blah blah blah.. and that Grub was classified as some research (???) thing. I just told them that Grub is REALLY a restaurant and you can go check the website to confirm.

Anyway, the CSO said they will investigate and someone will call me back within 3 working days. And surprise surprise, someone just called me moments ago and said the same old story, but then they said that Citi will make an exception this time round and credit me back the extra 1.5% into my account. Also, future spending at Grub will not be entitled to the 2% due to merchant classification.

Also asked about the waiver of annual fees I requested a few days ago for another one of my Citi cards and said that if they can't waive, please cancel it. After being put on hold for awhile, the CSO said OK its waived. LoL...

Thumbs up to Citi. :s13:

On a side note, the food at Grub is reasonably priced and excellent. Only opened for dinner and weekend brunch. Tried almost everything on their menu and my favourites are the Risotto with parma ham crumble ($10.5) and the Slow roasted pork belly on mash with mango sauce and cherry tomato salsa ($15). :s22:
