Mercs GLB180 vs GLB200

I like big, longist and powerful car. Its like a diplomat car. With white colour paint it even made the car look bigger. I don't like small sporty car.

I paid the road tax back then about 6k per year I think.

Usually diplomats in Singapore quite low key. Going around in a Merc typically is Ambassador level only.

GLC is nice but strangely less space than GLB. If GLB fold down last row, the boot space is better.

Of course GLC is nicer and more luxurious.

Glb180 is only 128hp. Too weak.

Should not look at the bhp is misleading, this runs on turbo charged engine with high torque, 0-100 sprint still not too bad

glb 180 and 200 can upbadge to 35 but it's still a Renault engine...
the AMG 35 is 2L and Mercs assembly line engine (45 and above are one man one engine). the car is made in Mexico and since it's 2nd hand, u should check what R the features that comes with the car. during the initial few batches of glb a lot of supply chain issues and chip shortage. and mercs being mercs they wanna create a difference right? so some standards that u expect as a standard Conti maybe missing from this...

the glb is not problem free.... better check properly. test drive in silence don't talk dony listen to radio

Reason why GLC is lesser space than GLB is because of it's categorization.

GLA and GLB are just plain shiet products Merc pushes out. To give that feeling of 'incremental changes', they will increase the spec and size of the GLB slightly bigger than GLA.

However, GLC, GLE, GLS are a separate category of it's own. You cannot take GLC and compare it to GLB side to side. Confirm GLC will lose. Cos in terms of 'ranking', you can only rank GLB with GLA. But you have to rank GLC, GLE and GLS in a separate category with GLC taking the lowest rank.

That is the reason why GLC's specs "appear lower" than GLB.

0-100 is the king. The hp, torque are not accurate show your car is fast or got power on the road. Without traction, high hp is low hp.

Tiagong my friend who owns the GLB 180 he uses software tuning to tune it to the same power as GLB200

Sealion 7 is 5 seater, you prob meant M6.

If you want MPV why not Vellfire or Alphard?

A and B levels are just what Mercedes chin chye vomit and throw to the mass market to earn extra money because people are SUCKERS for the merc badge and strut like peacocks when they are in reality - Roosters at best.

The real consumer base that Mercedes focuses in order of priority from lowest to highest are C, E, S and Maybach.

Harsh words, but yah, that's the reality of how Merc treats its consumers in reality.

I'd say, neither. If left only 5yrs or lesser, I'd rather u get a simple Jap car.

When u truly make it after that 5yrs or lesser, then walk into Merc showroom at Alexandra to get a C, E, S or Maybach:
- U wan XMM salesgirl talk to you, not so reliable and not so senior, everything no discount/need to check + u wan to jio her out and hopefully u dun kena meatbao-ed, wear branded from top to bottom.
- U wan auntie (but more senior and reliable) saleswoman talk to you, wear normal or berms+tee+slippers.

How about glb35 or glb45? Can compare to base glc?
