porting in from another telco, normally how long will the line be successfully activated? My previous telco line was cut off at midnight, up till now it is still not up yet.

I went to the zero1 webpage to check my account, under the tab 'My Service Management', the line is still listed as 'pending'.

If you received your SIM card at Friday, activation usually by next working day 1pm.

It is best not to receive your SIM card on Friday. If you received Wednesday, Thursday donating Telco process porting request, if it's approved, next working day by 1pm should be ready.

Everyone who are on zero1 but intend to port out, or already ported out please beware.

I am also on the $19 plan if that helps. Maybe not everyone have this issue. But still highlight for sharing.

Their system is so flawed that when port out is successful, your account with them is still active. So imagine my surprise when i receive my bill, so they are still charging to your credit card monthly.

I emailed them asking to follow up, they appear to be unaware and even ask me to send proof when I port out. Isn't this very unprofessional? At this technological age, we all know when we port from 1 telco to another, the old telco should automatically terminate the old account when it happens. I ask them to check with Singtel since they ride on their infra, no response until they invoiced me and i found it has been charged to my credit card. Their billing hotline is non-existant, i called and had an IVR say hotline not available ?? I have raise a dispute with my bank since.

I login to my zero1 account and it still shows account active, and the way they manage service number, although it shows something like:
Tempory number: xxxxxxxx
Port over number: xxxxxxxx

At the top it shows the temporary number as the "activated" and in bills it also the temporary number as the service number instead of my port over number.

Just sharing to everyone here for awareness.

You should have changed your credit card to a prepaid credit card once you port out. With that, they are unable to charge you any cost when you have insufficient money in your prepaid credit card. Just wait for them to contact you for any billing issue. It is less troublesome this way.

I'm still with zero1 $10 plan. To act as a placeholder for my phone number lol, it's the cheapest plan available (missed the boat for MR), mainly use TPG x 2sims card so the 1gb data doesn't bother me
