I can confirm that Singtel Network remains faster than Zero1 (using Singtel Network). It is definitely NOT the same. So Zero1 can be your spare line, but should not be your main line especially for gaming.

I did Okta Speed Test at a Starbucks in major shopping centre:

Singtel = 78.82 Mbps with 21ms ping.

Zero1 (Singtel network) = 53.15 Mbps with 28ms ping.

I also streamed 4k video and noticed that Zero1 had occasional lag spike where the video will freeze before resuming 2-3 seconds later.

aiyah no need PM lah.. just ask here.

1. The phone on top will show Zero1
2. Zero1 now has their own App. You can see your usage (talktime minutes / SMS / data usage).

Moi also using the $6.90 line for iPad. Still not too bad since got unlimited. Slow but still can watch YouTube lower quality

Anyone not getting billed on time? Weird its passed the billing date but the app did not auto update or deduct money although the data, calltime sms reset already. Should I inform them or just wait?

Seems the Jumbo Plans & Starter Plan are their remaining plans now. Good value with the 60GB/$12 plan and best thing is can top up/renew every 30 days online with Shopee vendors.

I am not a zero1 subscriber and one doesn't save any $$ by using online purchase, pay $12 for a $12 plan renewal.

However, going to a physical shop to renew every 30 days can be stressful in my opinion; e.g., what if you can't make it that day? Services will be cut. Some will say go early, so the 30 day plan becomes 28/29 days? The Shopee online plan renewal as I understood it is a voucher and one can redeem it just before last plan expiry.

It's not a voucher. You pay the shop, give them your number (in the comments to seller) & they will manually renew the plan for you on their backend (usually within minutes as long as you do it during the shop operating hours, although I have seen a couple claim 24 hours).

I wonder what's the reasoning for the recent trend of such monthly renewed plans ? Cash is King ?

I can see the plan's value but it's just too troublesome to make payment in person every month.

This got to do with different mindsets.

Many FTs prefer such plans because they can manage easier, and is similar to the prepaid style that they're accustomed to.

For many of us, we are more used to pay later at our own convenience. Or even better, deduct through GIRO/CC
