I heard about it, the 5G SA speed isn't as impressive than 5G NSA. I'm not really that looking forward to Singtel's 5G SA, my SIM card delivery is on the way though.

The only way to know if the 5G SA is effectively, is try the network during peak hours and congested mrt stations like Outram Park. Singtel MVNO 5G NSA hit only 1mbps on EWL outram platform.

Sometimes, the excitement for it is high. But once you are about there to get it, you don't feel it anymore. Hearing the "reviews" about Singtel 5G SA speeds, makes me not looking forward to it liao.

M1 Maxx 5G SA set the bar too high, they set the basic standard for my peak 5G SA Speeds

I will know it once i start using ST 5G SA, once i receive the 5G SIM and get 5G SA activated. So far all the "low speed of ST 5G SA" were reviews from people here. I don't see more tests being done, not even actual Singtel's plan of 5G SA enhanced pro elite max or whatever plan.

yup. from Tanjong Pagar to Tiong Bahru stretch is very jialat. Especially the blackhole between Outram and Tiong Bahru.
The problem has been there since 3G days.

no difference using 5G SA ... Maxx support told me last time the shared infra is old around that stretch outram to tg pagar also vice versa to tiong bahru

yeah. old tech shared infra. Unless LTA start to do something like what circle line is experiencing now.

Repair and refurbish the EWL old tunnels. Shut down the tunnel for 5 days, remove all old equipment, then Singtel, Atina and Simba can go in to install their 5G SA / 6G networks. To improve commuters experience as they check bus arrival timings

Haiz, I sent email to IMDA on the "no signal" issue for the MRT tunnel between Tiong Bahru to Outram Park since last year May. Singtel then called me only 1 time that they were testing the signal. Till now still no improvement.

reminds me of Simba. Simba having bad network at IKEA JEM, complaint a few times, they keep saying the building is doing a network upgrade. A few years later, still the same. Ported out and already at Zero1

you can try during peak hour at MRT stations, that is where SA makes a big difference.

Still need to get more reports to see if the users can really get SA or not in such case. And if get SA, does it help or not?

IMHO.
5G+ is because added the 700Mhz - supposing better underground.

As per Singtel, it will help a lot for the underground.

https://www.singtel.com/business/insights/beneath-the-surface-the-power-of-underground-5g

On the other hand, there are both coverage and congestion issues involved. So YMMV.

Now Singtel MVNOs start to get 5G SA. Let's wait for more reports whether they get better user experiences in the underground MRT tunnels.

No la rubbish de. The stretch of EWL from tanjong pagar to Redhill all fall bk to 5G NSA and then can't load anything

at least Spotify is playing not aeroplane mode under ground tunnel like Maxx and sometimes NSA

ignore this..
Spotify is not really a good indicator though because of cache. The songs you played is cached, so when you play the songs again, then it will not buffer.

Want to know if the network is good, need to try Twitch streaming.
