think I will buy the CM Elite 343 or 361, don't have it then buy 344 or lastly Xigmatek XTK231 or 232. well...they are the cheapest cases in the pricelists.

There was once where Lazada is selling Deepcool smarter casing at $29.

Now they are selling at $39.

Get the 344 then, look nicer with colored edge.I should have opt for this instead of 311 mid tower size. Didn't do my research thoroughly, kinda regret but already bought liao so bobian suck thumb.:o

344 seems good but I prefer a full-black case. think I'm leaning toward 361. the vertical/horizontal positions seem interesting, and it has the bottom mounted PSU for better air ventilation. think the PC with the bottom PSU would be quieter too. I cannot stand noisy PC.

Based on my experience with mATX cases, have a mobo and gfx card in mind and work backwards. Some cases are too tight for certain cards and might hamper its ventilation.

noted. I am transferring my old mATX case items, mATX MB to the new case. the mentioned cases can use ATX MB so think mATX MB shouldn't be a problem for space.

Srsly.

Consider your parts, their size and ventilation requirements, then get the cheapest casing that fits those requirements. You seem to be letting your budget for casing decide your setup for you instead, and that my friend, is doing it wrong :s8:

to think of it.

my requirements are
1) full black case
2) the DVD drive in horizontal position.
3) bottom mounted PSU
4) quiet case

(3) is a problem because my shortlisted cases have top mounted PSU.

you guys prefer a top or bottom mounted PSU ? top or bottom doesn't matter at all ?

Any other matx case about 30cm long only? I notice most like 40+ cm.

Width usually about 18cm quite standard, unless is slim case then maybe 10cm.

Bottom psu allows better cable management.

Not many silent cases at this price point. Only one i can think of is Silencio 352

Silencio 352 $85. my budget is tight. my current increased budget is around $90, including $20-30 for the PC assembly. :o

from personal experiences. I don't know. maybe it is the PSU. my current PC bottom PSU is so much quieter than the previous PC top PSU. from what I read, the bottom PSU does not add much heat to the case. it sucks air from the bottom of the case and exhausts it from the back/side of the case. it doesn't interfere with the case airflow.
