After touching Surface 2 at Challenger, I realise this tablet is indeed an interesting hybrid which is more into productivity. You can't do a direct comparison of surface 2 with samsung note 10.1 or pro 12.2 because this is more for file management and heavy usage of MS office!
I will be getting it soon with my student discount at MS store!!! perhaps end of this month.

It is a very good product. Office on the go. Surface 2 is really cool. Too bad the OS is not a full 8 or 8.1.

Unfortunately, the accessories (like power cover) take a super long time to hit Singapore, assuming that they are even confirmed. And, MS has an odd policy of releasing their newest toys to the whole world earlier, except Singapore. :|

The market of Singapore for Surface product is quite small if you notice, you don't see them advertising here just like how they did it in MY, USA or HK.

Advertising not as aggressive but at least they still bother to advertise... When the original Surfaces came, there were few to no advertisements in my area. But now, in my area, quite a number of bus stops have the ad for Surface 2 (>5), really colourful and attractive.

yup. agree on the advertising part.
big difference now for 2.

but the market is really small.
coz RT, to me...is still a half-baked os which is neither here (tablet mode) nor there (desktop mode). these could have been over looked had their app store been more vibrant. but sadly, almost 2 years on, the app store is still lacking.

Yea lor. Quite gone case. For that matter, it seems like MS has no clue who they are targeting. 0-0
