OK, after playing with it, just pre-ordered the I7 256SSD 8GB one from Digital Style@Suntec City Mall

How did the pen writing experience feel? That is my only reservation as I tried the Acer R7 pen writing (same Ntrig technology) and it was a bit inferior to the S pen on the Note 10.1.

So the voucher is only available for VALORE products and not microsoft product, is this across all challenger stores ? Or specific only. From what I think it should be the same across all the stores.

I asked and they said it's across the stores. It's better to check at other outlets.

I doubt I'll be using the pen. FYI, I hardly use the pen in my Note 3

Did you pre-order only the Surface Pro 3 itself or together with the Pro cover?

The Pro Cover product code is not available now so cannot take any pre-order. Have to wait till the day of collection of the SP3 then use the $100 to offset it lor

Toshiba has an ultrabook thats 1.1kg light with 13inch screen if i rmb correctly. Did you do any research prior to coming on the forums to ask?Might help if you tell us what you've considered

hahaha my original question was posed to cscs3 who claimed that he knows a lot of ultra-thin laptops cheaper than the sp3. just wanted to know what are the models that he was referring to. i did some research but so far haven't came across any models much cheaper than the sp3.

i was there to test out the sp3 this afternoon.

the pen writing experience was superb. really no lag (maybe 0.005 secs) and the writing appears the same as it would appear on a piece of paper.

i was there to affirm my intention to pre-order the sp3.

i'll be pre-ordering it on tuesday for the following offer:

i have some qns to ask on the the video output.

Supposedly, I connect my sp3 to my monitor via display port, will it be a screen extention or mirroring? Or we are given the option to choose. I was meddling with my desktop win 8.1 and saw the devices options, hence would like to know how it will work for sp3.

Anyone know where can I repair my Surface RT screen? Roughly how much?

My friend accidentally dropped it and the screen is cracked. Also, the screen is not responsive to touch and home button is not working. I guess the warranty does not cover this.
