cheap too..

"Microsoft could be preparing to launch a Surface mini with Windows RT and a Surface mini Pro model with a full version of Windows 8. Microsoft may even be considering an entirely new Intel-based Surface model."

A good alternative will be the thinkpad tablets. X230t or is it 240 now.

If they launched sp2 pro in sg when it first came out in us, nobody would buy it because it'll cause a bomb when sold in sg. Who'd buy a tablet when it costs the same as a ultrabook?

cos ultimately, it's an i5 laptop which can double up as a tablet.

ultrabooks are not tablets unless yr referring to yoga 11s and the likes.

i believe those are around the same price too.

imo, windows 8 should not be on anything less than i5. its just too slow.

RT is ok but the app store just cannot take off no matter how hard MS tries.

so for now, it's full win 8 or nothing.

You dun need an i5. You just need a Solid State.

Anyone looking to buy a replacement pen can contact me, i have a non-retail packaging Samsung S pen that works very well with the surface, maybe even better than the original surface pen. Comes with replacement nibs in two textures, nib remover. Selling for $18.

Same functions as original pen, eraser and 1 button
I'm interested in the pen if it really works on RT surface. It seems that the link given is broken. Can U give more information of the pen n price?
Thank u

Not true that all wacom pens will work, there are two different technologies that wacom uses and not all pens are compatible.

Pen does not work with RT tablets, only the pro 1 and 2.

I need help!:(( my replacement surface 2 just automatically shut down unexpectedly again. Checked event log. It's the same kernel problem again. My first brand new set had this issue too, so I sent it for replacement. But it seems like the second set have this issue.. Should I ask for refund or get a replacement for the second time? ?

Are there any alternative tablet other than choosing Microsoft??
