The i3 is good enough for a student! Microsoft lie man say charge only at the point when product is gonna ship. Got us all confused thinking it will ship this week lol. Oh and i think i shall use it without any cases on first. I love the original weight..

I got charged $2xxx on 18 Aug also.....I called up Microsoft they said only the complete warranty is charged, not the surface pro. but complete warranty is $2xx . so why SMS says $2xxx ? they gave some reasons which i didnt bother.

They are nuts. I got charged $1,719.90 which is the sum of surface 3 & type cover. I ordered the extended warranty and office 365 in the same order.

My office 365 was charged separately from the type cover and surface pro.

365 charged on the day I ordered. Surface and type cover on 18 Aug.

If your company is using ms suite, you can consider using the home use program. 15 dollars for office 365.

Valuebasket has many bad reviews.
Even if their website state they have stock, they can't deliver it.
I think they only source for it after you place order.
And if they can't a price that they stated, you just wait.

I ask microsoft what is SP3 internal SD card reader transfer speed, they told me class 6 which is 6 MB/sec.

Is this true?
is internal SD card reader transfer speed so slow?

I never use the card reader in ultraportable/notebook for by the time they release the notebook/ultraportable there will be newer card formats or higher speed which the card reader cannot support

Similarly, for built-in 3G/4G. Current speed is 150Mbps. If 300Mbps becomes easily available you'll find your built-in 3G/4G becomes useless.

It's always better to use external device for these cases

i never thought the internal card reader speed will be so slow.
6 MBps is 1/10 of USB 2 speed and less then 1/100 of USB 3 speed.

I never order from valuebasket.... its reputation is very bad under WOT status..

Wow this means even getting.... a a class 10 super good microsd would be a wasted...

- any recommendation for a Matt screen protector?
- where can I get a mini display port to hdmi cable ?
