Hi, I know that most of the users in this forum are Singaporeans. However, does anyone know anyone who've refunded GST from purchases from MS store? I want to buy the SP3 but would like to know the situation with GST refund first.

I've had an open ticket for a week now and been through the range of emails to MS Singapore, live chat with sales specialists, US specialists and billing specialists - 8+ MS personnel so far.... and escalated the query to higher level management - and still no answer!?!

I'm hoping that the forum users here are more knowledgeable!

u not from sg buy from here for what? want easy gst refund then go retail store buy

8 -9 hours on 50% brightness I got.

wah that's pretty cool. my meeting can go as long as 6+ hours so I usually need to bring along my laptop charger. if the device can last 8 hrs then I can save lots of weight on my bag :)

No, I'm not from SG but I'm visiting and intend to buy it. I'd rather buy direct rather than deal with sales people, who often don't know a lot. BUT, you make a good point because even if buy retail, warranty claims will be direct to MS right?

It's easier to buy from a retail store to claim GST. At least someone will be there to help you. You don't even need to deal with sales people, just walk in and say what you want, all the prices are controlled anyway.

Anybody wants my $100 microsoft store coupon. I'm willing to let it go cheap since I have no use of it.

guys, are there any physical stores that sells SP3 accessories ? mainly looking for Tempered Glass SP and a sleeve.

Hi, currently there's no one stop center with all the accessories that you have stated. For Tempered Glass SP, you can either go for adix 82 for his clasy screen protector or lvl 5 nicholas for the full glass fit SP3.

As for sleeve sorry maybe others might have better info for you as I normally will order from etsy custom made leather.

I bought case logic sleeve for mac book pro 13inch, fit nicely for sp3 including the pen attached at keyboard.

Bought at central Clarke Quay .. got discount 30%, net around $50 .. this sleeve is similar to Thule brand ..

screen defect?

Hello everyone,

I'm not sure if anybody had this issue but this is already my second surface pro 3 with the same screen problem. There is a mark on the screen that can be visible only when there are finger prints on the screen. The round shaped bubble cannot be removed of affected by dirt o finger print but if I use a micro fiber cloth to clean the screen, you wont see the mark.

My first surface pro 3 had the same problem. Anyone had the same issue?
