Basically the A300 that the folks here have recommended. But in this case, you don't have to get involved with SLS. They will fix it for you and troubleshoot for you if anything goes wrong. I recommend going for the Ryzen 5 3400G if you can stretch your budget. Avoid the Intel and Ryzen 3 options because they don't seem to be very good in value.

Noted from the first link that "modern and demanding games will only be playable in lowest settings and the APU is mostly intended for lower demanding games like Overwatch, Dota 2" and the second link seem to suggest GTX 1650 outperformed RX Vega 11.

I am using this as a second PC in my room for surfing net, watching YouTube, and playing Dota 2 (currently the only game I play). Am I right to say RX Vega 11 is sufficient to meet my needs of playing Dota 2 (since surfing net and youtube can be done easily)?

Actually, is getting a mini pc just for the small form factor? Is it much more economical to get a desktop pc?

of course dgpu will most likely beat igpu. 1650super is a pretty decent gpu at that, delivering rx570 performance. but igpu will still handle general use like web surfing and light gaming, and means u dont have to buy dgpu (which in the case of the 1650super costs at least $250) so can save some money. the vega 11 igpu is pretty much the best igpu u can get right now, trashing intel's offerings.

wanting mini pcs are usually a matter of preference. some just not enough space, others want to cram as many powerful parts into the smallest space possible. i dont really think whether it is economical or not really matters, since more often that not it is your budget that determines what u get. it is worth noting that parts for itx builds usually come at a premium.

I looked at the aftershock Vision model. It fits the SFF which I like but it does not have a separate graphics card or the ability to add one on later?

u will most likely need to build ur own itx rig.
the vision model is just basically an asrock deskmini (which is purpose built for cpus with igpus) with all the parts already installed.
